Hello !! Got a new impulsively created character that I enjoyed creating! This is Gladepaw, a quiet, deeply observant apprentice with a stutter. She was born an outsider and raised in near-constant danger by a mother who undoubtedly did not know how to be a parent. She’s a survivalist at heart, but she's still learning to live instead of just endure. She doesn’t talk much, startles easily, and tends to hover on the edge of most group dynamics… but she's the kind of gal to notice everything so keep an eye on what you are doing /silly. She’s still working on finding her place in the clan, and she’s someone who wants to be useful, even if she struggles to believe she belongs. I hope to keep her active for a fairly long time, and I have a list of some stuff I am hoping to get for her!

Mentor (1/1)
Open to anyone, but I’d love a mentor who meets Gladepaw where she is. It could be someone patient or quietly persistent, a cat who doesn’t take offense at her silences or flinches. Bonus points if the mentor doesn’t try to fix her but instead helps her carve space in the world as she is. She’s a capable learner when she isn’t overwhelmed, and helping her eventually open up (even in small ways) could be such a rewarding dynamic!

Cats who manage to worm their way past her defenses. These would be the first cats Gladepaw feels truly safe around. Someone who helps her come out of her shell, even if it’s only bit by bit. They don’t have to be gentle necessarily - they just have to see her for more than her quiet nature. Maybe someone fiercely loyal who protects her without hesitation, or a fellow weirdo who doesn’t mind the silence. Bonus points if it’s messy and awkward and full of quiet affection.

Friends (5/∞)
Casual companions! Fellow apprentices she trains with, warriors who are kind to her, or even cats who just nod at her in passing, and help her feel a little less alone. These don’t have to be deep connections (though they can grow into that!), just positive interactions and friendly dynamics that show her the clan isn’t as cold or harsh as she sometimes fears.

Now this is something I will be a little picky about. I’d love for Gladepaw to have one or two older cats she genuinely looks up to - cats who embody the kind of confidence, integrity, or stability she wishes she had. They might not even know she admires them at first, but watching how they move through the world shapes the way she tries to grow. If you're open to a more subtle or slow-build mentorship (or… anything really) that isn’t official, this is a great slot!

Enemies/Bullies (0/∞)
Not everyone in the clan would be patient with a soft-spoken, stammering kid. Gladepaw is easy to target: small (not really small small, she just hasn’t hit her growth spurt yet), skittish, and weird. I’m open to rivals, passive-aggressive apprentices (or anyone) who think she’s strange or weak, or cats who openly dislike her for where she came from. It could be verbal tension or something that escalates over time. Anything works for me!

Orr… just anything else! Anything you guys can think of, you can toss right at me - I am more than open! Just know that anything regarding romance is off the hook for right now, as Gladepaw isn’t someone who would be so open to that, so that is highly unlikely! No forms, just toss cats right at me & tell me all about them!

i offer ivykit! hes very loud and energetic at the moment but a huge people pleaser so he may pick up on it if glade gets uncomfortable. perhaps they could be an unlikely friend duo?

I can offer my girl CrowPaw for some kind of friend? She’s very much a scaredy cat due to her own trauma earlier on as an apprentice. She’s a bit older now, about 15 moons, but fell behind on her training due to becoming an apprentice late and abuse from her mentor that really messed with her mentally.

Well, Stormy is like, a natural mother figure to everybody. They support their kits, and those that look up to them, wholeheartedly in their goals. They would be one of the grounding people in Gladepaw's life, constantly reminding Gladepaw that she is enough, and that she can do anything she puts her mind to.

Stormwish probably wouldn't even notice that Glade admires them, at first. They spend most of their time around kits, their loving and self-assured manner may draw Glade's attention.
