Make sure to congratulate Versailles on their promotion from c-mod in training to fully fledged chat moderator! They've worked very hard, and we can't wait to see where they go from here!
Last time things ended a bit... awkward. But fresh day, fresh mind, right?
Could have gone worse. Always could have gone worse.
Thornbird looked at the sky for a moment. It was morning, but not too early. Then at the clearing. Less than half the able clan still sleeping in the dens.
This is the perfect opportunity. It was necessary, and Rookpaw was eager to learn.
Ey crossed the clearing from the warriors' den to the apprentices' and peeked inside. "Morning, Rookpaw. I'll be waiting at the entrance of camp for you. We're going for the territory tour." Eir tone was calm, as if having forgotten what happened at the battle training.
The massive warrior then left with the limp ey had for no-cat truly knows, leaving Rookpaw, waiting for get to get ready.
Hopefully two cats who are able to fight will do fine out there in the territory, but just in case, ey's not telling Twilightstar.
She heard her name being called. Right. She had requested a territory tour from Thornbird, and that was today. "Coming."
The dusky apprentice arched into a tall stretch before making her way out of the apprentice. Bright morning light shone into her eyes, almost blinding her. Augh. Camp entrance...this wasn't the first time she's gone out but this time, it would be for an official tour not some excursion. Rookpaw made her ways towards her mentor and gave a small nod in greetings.

Thornbird let a small smile show in eir scarred muzzle, intended towards eir apprentice. "Let's go. I'll show you around." That maybe was a tad obvious, but ey felt the need to say something.
The large enby took the lead, stepping out of camp, expecting Rookpaw to trail behind em. Eir pace was slow enough for her to get time to observe her surroundings.
The terrain here consisted mostly of vast, extensive plains and grasslands, wildflowers of varied types decorating the meadows. "This is the territory, what most of it looks like," Thornbird explained as they walked along a river, the one that split the territory.
The warrior was silent for a while as they walked to the next location, waiting for questions, if any at all.
[Sorry for disappearing for a while, school's been rough on me.]
