Smokefang, the double faced ThunderClan Warrior
He/Him
Smokefang padded up to the Stormcrest when he heard the call...
Oh boy... That could be as bad as it could be good...

"I am ash... I am embers... My flames once danced bright. My flames now fade... But it returns from the depths... The fire devours me whole... It's the birth of something greater..."
Cicadapaw's heart thudded against his ribs as he watched his father stumble up the Stormcrest, each pawstep seemingly like a struggle against his own failing body. And still, he shouted. Still, he stood. Even when his voice cracked, even when the coughing doubled him over, he forced himself upright again.
Cicadapaw was struck by a storm of emotion: relief that Spiderthroat was still alive, awe at his father’s relentless will, and terror that this might be the moment it finally broke him. That this speech, this climb, would be the end of him. This was too soon.
He surged forward, weaving through the gathering crowd until he reached the foot of the Stormcrest. His legs trembled as he looked up, eyes burning with fear he refused to let spill into tears. Not here. Not now.
"Spiderthroat - Dad, please -" he hissed, voice low, desperate to keep the him from hearing the quake in it. "You have to go back. You have to rest."
In Cicadapaw’s mind, the Clan could wait. Whatever message Spiderthroat needed to give, whatever fire still burned in his chest - it meant nothing compared to the danger of losing his father too.
Dad was. Alive. She lifted her head from her paws, and watched as he dragged himself up the Stormcrest. On one paw, she couldn't stand to see it. Her Dad. Not someone else, her Dad. Hurt. On the other paw, he was alive, and seeing that he was still strong enough to pull himself up was good. He was so strong, and she was almost... Proud?
She watched as Cicadapaw weaved through the crowd. Should she follow? Her head swivelled trying to spot any of her other siblings. Well, she certainly didn't want to be alone. So, she followed along, sitting beside the apprentice. Cicadapaw wanted him to rest. She couldn't blame him, but she didn't expect Dad to listen. "He's alive.." It was all she could say. What else could she say? It's like she was holding onto her own emotions, with an iron grip. It was a shock to her that she hadn't snapped at anyone. Oh, but if anycat pushed it, she absolutely would. Claws dug into the dirt below, as she watched. Why was he up there, then? Was Bumblestar dead?
[taking the hashtag as u saying the post is open to us, hope that's okay haha ! ]
Acornfall looked up as Spiderthroat summoned the clan, his gaze growing solemn. Serious. Was this the announcement he’d been waiting for? After all, those damned beasts were still out there. Gloating, being a general threat and nuisance. He couldn’t stand the thought of them in their territory…threatening the existence and peace of his clan. Of his family. He was a father now, and that meant more than ever that he needed to protect their lands. Even if Bri hated him for it. He cast a glance at the nursery, expecting to see her rushing out any moment now. The brown tabby rose to his paws, and walked near the nursery entrance, sitting with his tail wrapped around his paws.
He kept his eyes focused on Spiderthroat, though his ears swiveled. Listening for Nightwhisper, Ems, or Bri. Oh stars the kits…Cloverkit in particular is sensitive to her mother’s feelings. It wouldn’t be good if Bri had a breakdown in the clearing… Well, no sense fretting. All he could do now was wait.
Well now, he could only imagine what this was about. Burnedbark stepped forward at his deputy’s summons, listening closely as he sat amongst his clanmates.
Sunrisepaw sat near the apprentice’s den, eyes narrowed in focus.
Spiderpaw sat near the den with Sunrisepaw, gaze fixed upwards on her deputy. Widened fearfully.
Weepingwillow sat at the entrance.
Nightwhisper padding beside Acornfall, little Emberpaw following him as cloverkit beside Weepingwillow

Dreamykit A Little Dream

Dreamykit vaguely wandered around, confused by the sudden rush of activity. Spotting her mama and papa, she stumbled over to them and pressed into mama's fur. "Why's there so many cats everywhere?" she mumbled quietly. Maybe it was another meeting? But everyone seemed so... panicked. Why would cats feel panicked? Was it normal? She closed her eyes and snuggled deeper into her mother's fur, overwhelmed.

The small tabby cat had still been trying to get used to the change in scenery, and adjusting to the smell of the clan he had hated for so long. But he was ThunderClan now, through and through. His one ear turned in the direction of the....stormcrest. That's what Spiderthroat had called it. Rainpaw limped over, one blue eye glancing up at the deputy. A patrol had just been ambushed by Otters, right? That might be why the deputy was calling out rather than Bumblestar. The blue tabby sat down, feeling like a literal fish out of water.

Acornfall let out an “oof” when he felt something run into him. The large tom was barely moved by the impact, though it did cause him to shuffle his paws somewhat. He turned to see Bri, panicked as he expected. He couldn’t help but chuckle as she checked him over for injuries, giving her ear an affectionate lick. “I’m alright my love.” He purred, draping his tail over her shoulders. He decided not to tell her that she was far too small to cause any damage that way to a cat built like him, he didn’t fancy getting his ears clawed off before he even (possibly) left on this patrol.
He looked over at Cloverkit, buried against Weepingwillow, and gave her an encouraging wink. The brown tabby then turned his sights on his other daughter, Dreamykit, offering her a comforting purr as she buried herself against Bri. He stopped them along the edge of their gathered clanmates, sitting down and glancing at Briarmask. Usually he’d put himself right up front, but for Dreamykit’s sake this should be fine. He leaned forward so he could get his daughter’s attention. “Spiderthroat is making an announcement, sweetie.” He purred softly. But he looked up at Bri, figuring she didn’t want to tell the kids about the dangers entailed in this announcement.

Cloverkit got excited at her father's wink. Papa! Cloverkit looked at Weepingwillow who nodded softly. Cloverkit then raced over to her father, the heavily pregnant queen following close behind. As Cloverkit cuddled to her father, her small ears flicked happily.
Nightwhisper immedietly stood beside beside his friend. Gemtly moving Emberpaw in front of him as Weepingwillow settled down. Nightwhisper immedietly shut down Meberpaws protests with a sharp glare. Emberpaw murmuring. "Sorry dad"
Weepingwillow looked between her kit and her mate. Shaking her head softly. Brushing her tail along Briarmask's side in a silent and friendly greeting. The queen looked at nightwhisper, despite his small meal of protest, she groomed his ears. The large and tough warrior being treated like a Kit made Emberpaw giggle.

Breezekit
|| She/her || 3 Moons || Just a Scratch ||
Breezekit followed to too far behind her sisters, looking around at the gathered cats with a curious expression. Deputies could call meetings? Whatever had to be said was bound to be important either way. So of course she had to be here to listen. The gray kitten sat close to her parents, but she didn't need to cuddle. There were too many cats around for that, and the mood seemed... Strange. She looked up at her parents. "Do you know what he wants to say?"

Sunpaw Everything comes with conditions + she/her + The collector [active]
Sunpaw had wondered when there would be a meeting, she couldn’t remember when the last one was called. Yet when she came crawling out of the apprentices den she laid eyes on spiderthroats appearance . He looked rough like he went through some sort of shredder but didn’t ask it out loud, It wasn't the time for it. Until he spoke again she glanced around at the growing crowd. The first one to gain her eye was a scarred to hell and back feline, either paw or warrior. She would be surprised if they turned out to be a paw because they’d be a really big apprentice! ”HI! I’m sunpaw, you must be new because I haven’t seen you around before! You sure have a lot of scars, what kind of battles have you been in? Oh you also smell like a certain fishy clan, is that where you came from? So you know how to swim like all of them do? Would you mind teaching me how to swim?! Oh that would be fun and you could cool off in the water when it’s hot outside!” they shot question after question. It came out of her mouth so fast it would leave others questioning if she even knew how to breathe.

hollowpaw could both be said to be attending this meeting and not attending at all. he sits as far to the edge as he can get, unable to participate with the Clan or look any of them in the eyes. part of him feels the need to defend himself. most of him just feels shame.
