Noise, mess, responsibility, tears, and laughter... They all came paw in paw with kits. "In my opinion, all the negatives are worth it, because of the positives. Wisteria said, eyes still closed. She flicked her fluffy yellow tail, yellow paws tucked in neatly as she curled up the rest of her white furred body. "That would be nice, kits with you..." Wisty murmured, as she slowly...

Adder smiled, closing her eyes as she fell into a deep sleep. She wasn't worried about kits either way. That was not going to happen anytime soon. She dreamt about waterfalls and calm lakes, eels and cobras resting on lilypads, the tang of salty water. Soft fur and mews. She blinked her eyes open the next morning, yawning as she got up and stretched. "Morning, Wisteria," she mewed groggily. She gave her sleep-rumpled fur a few quick licks, making it look just about presentable. "Did you sleep well?"

Monkey's Paw

Wisteria was in wonderland. All these kits were crowding around her paws, faceless, as in a dream, but lovely and hers. If only this was a future she could have. But not with Adder.. unless maybe she could? Who knows. Soon, she was pulled out, up up and away..

She woke to Adder grooming and asking if she had a good sleep. The dream was odd, but yes. "Yes I did! How about you?" She asked cheerfully, sitting up and grooming her already immaculate fur.

Adder nibbled at her paw, there was an irritating knot there, and it was not coming out. "Yeah, lots of water and stuff. Weird dreams. I think I fell in the sea or something?" Giving up on her paw, she shook her pelt out and looked around as loud noises came from the twoleg den. "Wisteria? Do your twolegs ever come outside?" Honestly, she would be surprised if they didn't. This garden was attatched to their den, after all. Although, if the twolegs were coming out, they probably wouldn't be very happy to see Adder. "Should I leave? You know, just in case? I don't want to make your twolegs angry." She was already stepping towards the fence, ready to make the jump.

staff accept the wish so we can get these kits alive and not in a liminal space between states of being, similar to a constant state of sleep paralysis)

Wisteria looked up in slight alarm. "Of course they come outaide. They might be looking for me." Hearing Adder's question, the kittypet paused mid-standing, crinkling her pink bow. "Uhm.. Yeah maybe that's a good idea. Do you want to hunt while I eat?" She asked, starting to pad away slowly. Hm. She felt hungrier than usual. Was that bad? Nahh. "I'll ses you back here in an hour or so?"

Yeah, hunting would work. Any excuse to get away from the imminent twoleg situation. "Ok. I won't be too long and I will bring you back something." She then promptly scrambled over the fence and dropped down the other side. Trotting through twolegplace, she searched for any prey scents. Finding none, she decided to check in some of the other gardens. There wasn't much, until she found one with a pool. There were some fish in the pool, but there was also a frog splashing around. Deciding Wisty would like to try frog, Adder jumped down, walking over to the large pond. Frogs were easier to catch then fish, so she quickly had a frog corpse held in her jaw. She had some time to spare, so she decided to just walk around and see what she could find.

Wisteria waited until Adder left, and then trotted out of the ferns, meowing at her Twoleg, who was shaking a bowl of dried pellets. The kittypet followed it inside, twirling her yellow tail. Once it placed the bowl down, she took a few bites. Hm. After eating freshly killed prey with her mate, the pellets didn't taste quite as good. But she was hungry, so she ate it until the Twoleg came back and put down some softer, fish-flavoured food. Yum!

Ignoring the fact that the Twoleg was stroking her back with a large clawless paw, Wisteria gobbled up the soft food hungrily, soon licking the bowl clean. The plump kittypet had lost some weight, but now she felt like she was gaining it again. Eh she didn't really care. After lapping up some water -'Stream water tastes better.'- Wisty meowed to her Twoleg and ignored their calls as she padded through the catflap and back outside.
