Stagheart chuckled, rolling his eyes affectionately as Daisypaw bragged about his affections. He pretended to just shrug it off, but StarClan knows he really did care for his adoptive daughters as if they were his blood. He flicked her tail with his shoulder, a little smirk on his maw.

"Mhm, sure. We'll see," he hummed dryly, though it was a good-natured teasing. Then he gestured to her moss clumps, an amused look on his face. "C'mon, let's get this moss back to Berryshine. We still gotta send 'er to Willowtail, remember?"

"Oh yeahhh. We do" Daisypaw remembered as she picked up her moss. "Did I do good papa?" She mewed. Motioning to her moss clumps with her long tail. Blue eyes sparkling in hope.

You're shapin' up to be the finest caretaker I know," he muttered with a hint of amusement in his voice – she was the only caretaker he knew, after all. It was a lighthearted joke, hoping to keep her spirits up.

Then he led her back to camp, stopping at Berryshine's den and dropping some balls of moss inside. Berryshine padded up to meet them at once, briefly touching noses with her adoptive family.

"Back so soon? A-And I see you brought some moss," Berryshine purred, happily surprised at the 'gift' of one of her most essential herbs. "How did you two g-get on? You seem like you got quite a bit, Daisypaw," she remarked proudly.

Daisypaw purred. Her eyes gentle and slightly self conscious, would Berryshine like her gift? She'd spent the whole night making it ad thought now was a perfect time to give it to her.

Berryshine noticed, the bruises, just about to comment on them, when she paused. Her eyes widened in pleasant surprise as Daisypaw produced a vine-like 'bracelet' wrapped into a circle, woven together. She probably learned that technique when Stagheart taught her how to fix the walls around camp, hm?

"O-Oh Daisypaw, it's beautiful!" Berry exclaimed, sounded delighted. She touched her nose to her sister's, a purr constantly humming in her throat. Her chest felt warm as she used her other paws and teeth to worm the ring of vine and flowers around her front left paw, looking down at it. It was a cute little addition, like how sometimes she'd see cats put leaves or flowers in their pelts.

Stagheart's eyes softened as well, feeling a stab of warmth over the gift. He chuckled fondly, eyeing Daisypaw's craftsmanship. "That's some real nice weavin' ya did there, Daisy. Looks like our practice at the camp barrier weren't for nothin'."

Berryshine nodded, still beaming. She adored her gift, and the gratitude was clear on her face. She'd never really been given something like this before. "I love it," the medic assured, as if her tone and expression hadn't been enough. "D-Did you stay up all night making this, Daisypaw? You know you should rest, y-you look tired..." Even as she lightly scolded her overworked sister, Berryshine was still looking down at her foreleg, appreciating the thoughtful gift.

Daisypaw purred. Her long tail waving excitedly. "Yep! I practiced on a long line of vines until I got it tight. Then I wove in some flowers and kinda like. Tied it? It was hard I had to get some help but in the end it was worth it!" She tint apprentice beamed as Berryshine put on the braclet. "Yea...I did stay up. But I promise to sleep tonight. I was just really excited to make it for you once I got the idea" Daisypaw purred. Her usual rambling starting up. "I usually have a Daisy flower in my nest because it reminds me of my mother. But I went out with Softshade and found one close to it" she purred. Turning to Stagheart, Daisypaw meowed. "Yep! It was hard at first but I just kinda pictured you doing it and got it eventually. I was tempted to wake you but I thought it'd be rude" Daisypaw shuffled her paws. "I made a small line of vine for Willowtail to. It has the purple flowers on it so it kinda matches! She stuck it in her pelt right behind her ear. I think she added on a small twig ring to hold it there." Daisypaw realized she'd blabbering on and paused. "Heh...."
