Claykit settled into a crouch. Plenty of her games today were solitary ones, and after a while chasing her feathery tail got boring. Especially after catching it for the third time. Thankfully for her, there was a cat who looked to be the perfect target for a surprise. Claykit pounced, trying to land on Hickorykit's tail while he was distracted playing pretend.

Hick was in the middle of brooding like the super edgy loner he is when his little sister interrupted him, his curly tail held captive by her paws. The young tom whirls around to meet her with a surprised grunt, his eyes narrowed before he sighs and shakes his head.

"C'mon Clay, it'll hurt my image if I'm hanging out with a girl all the time," He huffs, cuffing her ear lightly, "Why don't ya go bother Ma or Prim?"

It was a bit impressive that she was able to sneak of on the Hickory though. He rubs his nose on his shoulder to sooth an itch before sneezing as his fur only tickles the inside of his nostrils- it's a high-pitched sound, small and much too cute for such a cool man. This is what he thinks at least, as his face is hot with slight embarrassment, his head swiveling to see if anyone caught sight of him. That would be bad. He can't let his reputation be tarnished! Thankfully, however, no one looked his way from what he can tell. He shakes it off, puffing up his chest fur and regaining his confident composure as he looks down at his sis.

"So..." He starts, an ear flicking as he thinks of what to say, "I'll play with ya if ya don't tell nobody what ya heard, got it?"

He figures hanging out with his sister would be less disgraceful than people finding out about his chipmunk sneeze, eh- sometimes sacrifices must be made.

"Tch, it ain't wrong to hang out with your sis." Claykit scoffed as her ear was swiped. "I haven't seen Ma all day anyways, and Prim's busy with her lil' kits."

Her nieces and nephews were fun, but she had enough sense to know that Primroseadder wouldn't allow her to play certain games with them. Plus, she didn't hang out with Hickorykit enough. He was always off being weird in a dark place or something. To each their corner or however the saying went. She really didn't get why he got so embarrassed randomly. Claykit let out a mischievous giggle as she tried placing a paw on her brother's forehead. "Heard what?"

A grin spreads across his maw at her words, his spiral tail flicking behind him as he bats her paw away playfully.

"That's what I like ta hear, so whatcha want ta play?" He queries, tilting his head to the side and looking at her.

Perhaps there's hope for his sister yet. The silky-furred tom studies her as he waits for her response- he actually finds that he doesn't mind that much. Of course, he loves his sister, but he's not mushy enough to tell her that so he'll just keep that little sentence to himself. He admires how cheerful she can be as well, and she isn't the worst at bein' sneaky either, maybe she can be his sidekick. That might be tolerable, he'll have to propose the idea later. But not now. Right now it's her turn to make demands, as she is the one who has the dirt on 'im, that's just how the world works. He can hire her after he's payed back his debt.

Palekit saw another kit, looking so bored. He was rather bored himself, so he decided to go talk to her. Hi there! He mewed. Mah name's Palekit! What's yers?

Streamkit looked up "oh Hi, my name is Streamkit" she smiled her cream and white fur shimmered in the dim light

Palekit smiled. Hi Streamkit! He then pointed over to his mother and 2 siblings. That's mah mama, Splashcloud, and mah brother Ripplekit, and mah sister, Flutterkit. Mah daddy Oakblaze and mah other sister, Flutterkit, er in Berryshine's den... His voice trailed off. A-anyway, where's yer family?
