Eeny, meeny, miny, moe, Catch a catto by the toe "Violetfreckle!" the apprentice called out after having spotted the warrior just outside the warrior's den, quickly bounding towards the older she and stopping right before the apprentice crashed into her. Now Quacky knew this cat had some sort of relation with Bumbly n' Muddy after what happened back at the meeting. If Muddy's Bumbly's sibbie then Violet-y must be some kind of significant other towards Bumbly riiiiiight? "you're friends with Muddy right? Mudhound? Can ya' teach me how to hunt today??" the starty eyed apprentice asked rather eagerly- she found it hard to stand still. Bumbly must still be really sad, so Quackpaw doubted she'd be able to get any training out of the leader; since Muddy seemed to be doing somewhat better, she figured Vi(y) would be doing decent. At least a little better than Bumbly. Quackpaw could go bother Muddy or y'know, their actual mentor Brackenclaw for training buuut..variety? This makes things way more interesting! And Quackpaw gets more 'friends'!

A kit appeared in front of Violetfreckle. She blinked once, twice, before realizing, ah. Yeah, that was an apprentice. She barely flinched as the kid almost crashed into her, but just barely stopped short. A flick of her ears as she processed the request. It didn't take the tabby long to reply. "Yeah, I can teach you how to hunt." With that, she got up and winced a bit at the small amount of extra effort it took (what that... her bones? Did her bones hurt??) before heading out of camp. She turned toward the rather energetic cat. "How much do you know so far? Anythin'?"

An agreement HEHE; See, Quacky sure knows how to ask for training! The apprentice quickly followed next to Viy–Vii-Vy-or—something of the like— as they walked out of the camps exit; another good thing about getting training is you get to walk out of camp a lot more “Muddy has taught be how to do the uh— like the battle stance! The one where you crouch with your head low and you pin your ears back!! Oh! And also look super mean and scary!” no Quackpaw didn’t look scary at all when she tried it, but if she believed she did then she did. No questions asked “it was fuuun! I dunno a lot about hunting” gee wonder why, it’s not like the first thing this Quacker asked training of was looking big and scary “I just know you crouch down and pounce on an unsuspecting prey and you kill them and you get a meal!” in a way, she suppooooosed hunting was similar to fighting, except instead of fighting cats you’re fighting prey animal that are trying to desperately get away from you

“out of alll the prey in Thunderclan, which one do you usually see the most? Which ones are rarer? And which prey if easiest and most challenging to catch?” birds are probably challenging to catch! Those damned wings! But the duck wanted to see if there are things here that most cats can’t even catch! “Also! Also! Also! Muddy said you were originally from Riverclan!!!! And you can teach swimming and fishing!!! I wanna learn to fish too soon!!” c’mon, when do you ever see a Thunderclanner that can fish??
