Sunrisepaw tilted her head. Was this warrior's name Firebloom or Fireblossom? She can't even correct me getting her name wrong? Sheesh. Were adults always this pathetic? Or rather...the question should be do young cats lose their good sense when they become adults. Whatever. She met Firebloom's gaze steadily as the awkward laughter died down, flicking an ear as she waited.

Sunrisepaw felt her gaze grow more interested as Firebloom mention training, though she then quickly felt her fur bristle when she mumbled about her current...predicament. "Speak up a bit will ya? Sheesh." Something about Firebloom...reminded her of brother. He went quiet after what happened with Larkswoop, and 'Rise protected him. She sighed, hopefully this wasn't another cat she was gonna have to protect...stars. The dilute tortie rose to her paws, nodding at Firebloom. "If you're offering some training, I'll take ya up on it." She mewed, waving her tail.

"What's the lesson plan then, teach?"

Nettlepaw was pacing around the clearing for a few moments, however, they paused upon their gaze meeting the lilac pelt and distracted olive eyes of a cat they.. somewhat recognised. They didn’t exactly know who thsi cat was, but they knew they’d heard their name somewhere. She seemed.. familiar.

Nettlepaw shook their head. Who was this? They racked their brain for a moment, before remembering the cat-watching molly. Violetfreckle? Yeah, that was it. Probably. Hopefully that was right.
They approached Violetfreckle calmly, before sitting a comfortable distance away from her as to not encroach on her personal space. They were pretty sure she was Bumblestar’s mate, and by Starclan she would hate getting into trouble with her.
“…Hello.. Violetfreckle.” they mewed shyly, awkwardly turning to look at the she-cat. “How are.. you?”

Man. She sure was interacting with a whole lotta kits lately. It seemed like she couldn't be seen in public without some kid asking her for training or telling her hi. The tabby cat flicked her ear before blinking once, twice, three times. Who was this? Violetfreckle was quiet for a long moment while she racked her brain, olive eyes darting to the ground. Oh. Wait. Wait? This cat had something to do with the one who was yelling about some star cat a couple moons ago. (Man, had it really been that long?)

Nettlepaw. That was it. With Ash...paw. Whisper. Whisper? Nah, 'paw. "Nettlepaw," She returned the greeting, meeting the younger cat's eyes. She glanced up and around at the clearing again before returning her gaze to the apprentice. "I'm... fine." Short. Curt. To the point. "What do you want from me? Trainin'? 'Cause I'm on break." She punctuated the statement with a long yawn. Not that she was tired, just that she wanted to make a point.

Firebloom fliched at Sunrisepaw's harsh tone, quickly shaking her pelt to disguise it. She cleared her throat, which had magically begun to feel dry. She numbly waved her tail and led the apprentice to a more open yet secluded place in the clearing.

"W-well, h-have you done any... B-battle training...?" Stars, she remembered her first battle lesson. With Shadeclaw. She missed him. He'd led her to warriorhood, something her previous 7 mentors haven't been able to do. "Y-you n-need to learn to b-be... Quick. Very quick. Agile. I-I, uhm. I can h-help with that. S-so... Wh-what do you know... So far...?" It would be nice to get her paws moving again. She wasn't a big fan of combat, but when it came to being quick and agile, Firebloom had enough... Experience. Kithood trauma. Whatever you call it.

Sunrisepaw noticed the flinch and only huffed. Great. Another Hailpaw. She nodded in agreement before following the red warrior. "I haven't learned anything yet. Not like, techniques or anything." She admitted, an angry lash of her tail and twitching of her lips showing her irritation. But it wasn't directed at Firebloom. "Moth got herself demoted before she could teach me any combat skills. I learned some combat stuff from Spiderthroat before though." She mewed, waving her tail thoughtfully. "But that's it."

head slowly to look at RedFur.

He sniffs, shifting slightly to get
comfortable without disrupting his
limp leg.
"Hello RedFur," He meows "I'm quite
fine today, how about you?"

He sniffs again, orange eyes glancing around
the camp. Spring has come, and the
godawful pollen is back, though helping
the territory grow, annoys the hell
out of BearWillow.
