"Do I have to do this with a stupid apprentice?" he hissed, lashing his tail. He hated this already and he just got there. His teeth were bared, claws unsheathed.

Pineswipe was shocked at the kit's tone. "You should be thankful to do it at all. What do you think Windpaw feels, having to pair with a kit instead of one of the apprentices that are around their same age?" His voice was laced with a hiss, though it never truly came out. "You need to start respecting those that are older than you."

Realizing the harshness in his tone and that he was likely making a scene, he sat back, still keeping off his hip. "Sorry, continue." He calmed his expression, but remained fixed on the kit with a look of warning.

Pineswipe sighed as, without warning, Windpaw got up and left. I probably made them upset by raising my voice. Turning to Adderkit, he spoke with confidence. "You know what? If you don't want to train with an apprentice, then fine. You can train on your own."

Branchfur was as shocked as Pineswipe at Adderkits mannerisms. She was about to hiss at him to keep his claws sheathed before Pineswipe said it first. Though Branchfur still gave Adderkit a glare. Before trying to force out in a measured tone. ''If anyone needs help with training, you can ask me.'' Looking around to make sure any other safety violations aren't broken (or unsheathed) Branchfur sat down and watched.

He purred a laugh as Squirrelkit 'demonstrated' the move. "Looking for a spoken answer, but I love the enthusiasm!" Nectarpaw pointed to his ears with his paw. "A mouse hears you before it sees you. Meaning you have to be very quiet when you're stalking one." He remembered the first attempted catch, he had make the mistake of having loud pawsteps.

"Can I see everyone stalk quietly now? Move a bit away from me and come towards me. Make sure to keep your paws spaced and evenly distributed." Stars, this was fun! Is this how being a mentor is?

Next posts will not be dated, they will move like normal after his group responds.

Pineswipe looked at the shocked apprentices, softening his eyes. "Do you guys need to see the move again?" He felt bad about losing his temper, but he didn't like cats bullying each other, much less ones older than themselves.
