The lynx point kitten flinched away from his mothers tounge so he could see. It couldn't have been that bad, the fighting. Talonpaw just got praised for it. This just made Pigeonkit more confused. Is she Riverclan or just a dirty outsider? Mountainspring isn't answering his questions and more cats are coming to watch or comment.

The petite queen watches her fellow clanmates intently as they all bustle about the clearing, tail swishing excitedly through the air as she observes their activities. She woke up this morning and immediately went outside (after cooing over some lil' beans), ready to learn heaps more about her new life. Well, it's not really new new, but a fairly recent change nonetheless! As her brown hues travel over the different shapes and sizes of Riverclan's cats, she's left wide open...

Talonpaw

He barely notes the cat flanking the intruder with him, only processing that they're helping—unlike the rest of his Clanmates—before his claws sink into the intruder's shoulders. Just as he begins to sink his teeth into the neck of the outsider and dispatch her for a good, a force knocks him away. He lets out a startled albeit angry yowl, lashing out with a forepaw on instinct to claw whoever attacked him across the muzzle as he briefly skids across the ground.

Talonpaw is back on his paws in a flash, spitting angrily as he makes to lunge again. The only thing that stops him is Sunheart's interruption, and it's only then that he realizes it was Seabreeze who slammed into him and not another enemy. He slowly allows the fur raised along his spine in a threat display to lower, the adrenaline slowly leaving his system as he processes Seabreeze's words.

Another voice chimes in, and he ignores Primroseadder's pointed gaze to snap his head in Wrenseeker's direction. He knows she must have come back from StarClan, but it's only now that he's seen her for the first time since her reported death. At least she's still competent. Perhaps dying and resurrecting himself is what allows Talonpaw to shake off the shock quickly enough, and he hones back in on the conversation just as Owlstar pads out of her den.

"Seven moons is old enough to battle if you have training. Certainly old enough to be a danger to any kits playing in the clearing without any," he responds gruffly, finally sheathing his claws now that the situation is being handled. He does heed Owlstar's words, not approaching Cloverpaw again and instead moves to stand by Wrenseeker in silent support of her words.

''Attackin' the kid at first sight wasn't the right way ta handle the situation, Talonpaw. Ya could at least have given 'er a chance ta explain 'erself. Instead, ya launched right inta a fight 'n coulda got yaself injured. Injuries are the last thing RiverClan needs right now.''

Seabreeze let out a breath, hardly feeling the sting of Talonpaw's lingering cut across his muzzle. With Sunheart and Owlstar appearing things seemed to calm down even if by only a fraction, Wrenseeker's ironic words were not lost on him but she hadn't been alive when Cloverpaw was the first time. Calming down himself as Owlstar didn't seem inclined to throw her out immediately though honestly he would only half blame her because Cloverpaw should've been smart enough to think this through rather than rushing into a camp that wouldn't recognize her in the slightest, not with the orders that have been given.

"No," His eyes flicked to Primroseadder, "Talonpaw and Wrenseeker were more than correct to attack the intruder in camp, my sister's shortsightedness was still present and I do not know what she was thinking." The former lionheart backed up a bit, allowing the space for Berryshine to address Cloverpaw's wounds swiftly, Seabreeze dipping his head in thanks to her before turning to the more important figures that needed to be answered. Sunheart and Owlstar had been swift and logical and perhaps it made him believe a little more that Stormstar's successor would continue to do well. Not because he doubted her, no, it was rather he doubted Riverclan.

"This is my littermate, she passed away when we were seven moons old. Ironically," He gave a snort with no humor behind it, "It was an outsider that attacked her and her mentor while on a hunting lesson and she passed due to her injuries that night in the medicine den. It seems that Starclan has brought her back, season cycles later." He knew of this happening before with Wrenseeker and Pebblesplash, but both hadn't seemed so.. messed up upon waking back up? Pebblesplash had reentered camp randomly but hadn't passed out or failed to speak when questioned, not like how Cloverpaw couldn't even be bothered to say anything before passing out- which to his knowledge, the other two revived cats hadn't passed out either.

Could the blockage of the Starcave cause something with Cloverpaw's revival to go wrong and that's why she wasn't thinking? He hadn't seen her when she first arrived but she had been swaying on her paws before Talonpaw tackled her to the ground.

After giving instructions to Squirrelpaw, Caveclaw walked into the clearing.
Once they stopped, they crouched and let the body of Duskpaw gently slide off of her back.

This was...
The kid was young.
It was never pleasant when anyone died, but when it came to anyone younger....

She sighed.

Talonpaw

He's perfectly content to wait next to Wrenseeker while Owlstar and Sunheart come to a decision about Cloverpaw. At least until some idiot opens their mouth and spews nonsense. Talonpaw whips his head toward Primroseadder, his fur spiking once again as he glares at her. He's pleasantly surprised at Seabreeze's defense of him despite the fact that he nearly killed his sister, but he isn't about to let the fish-brained warrior get away without a verbal lashing.

"Oh I'm sorry. Next time Owlstar tells us to chase off outsiders near our border or kill them if they don't leave, I'll just ignore that order. Next time I'll have a pleasant conversation with the outsider in the middle of our camp about while they're here. Of course, there's absolutely no chance they could be a threat to the younger apprentices or kits because some of them are just that insane. They're probably just lost and certainly won't come back with their buddies in the middle of the night to kill us in our sleep after we escort them nicely off of our territory. Wake up, Primroseadder. This is the real world, not whatever dream you live in. We don't ask questions to a threat in the middle of camp. We end it. Or have you already forgotten that you swore to defend RiverClan when you got your name? This isn't a game. It's kill or be killed. Survival of the fittest. Or did you already forget how the other three Clans kicked us out? Either way, I'm not about to let a kit die because I they wandered up to a stranger in our home while I had a chat with them. And if that's what you'd do, then you should just get out. You're a disgrace."

His piece said, Talonpaw turns his back to Primroseadder, determined not to do something worse than simply verbally tearing her to shreds. He refocuses on Owlstar and Sunheart, narrowing his eyes at them in a silent challenge to rebuke him. They've got another thing coming if they think he won't bury them next to Primroseadder.

Echo'kit was too bored. She need something to do. The dark grey kit crept out of the nursery, ear twitching. She knew she was supposed to be staying in the nursery, but she couldn't wait. She bolted across the clearing with a giggle, weaving between warriors paws if they were in her way.

"Wheeee-ACK-!" Echokit yelped as she tripped and tumbled head over paws, landing face-first in the snow. She sat up, shaking snow off her pelt before sneezing.
