The fresh snow was still mainly untouched, since Shadowclan was the first to arrive, causing the moon to reflect a great white light all around. It was even brighter than Shadowclan's territory during the day, causing Mudburr to wince at the glare. It had been a long time since he had gone to a gathering, and for good reason, but the apprentice convinced him otherwise this full moon.

His large brown form slipped out of the shadows, head down as he stalked forward. He was deep within the throng of Shadowclan's warriors, and yet, even they couldn't sheild him from the searing light of the stars, or so the tom imagined. He was only coming here for Spottedpaw, and Shadowclan, after all. Not for Starclan, and certainly not for the other clans.

He found a spot among his clanmates and sat on his hind, further crouching down until his chest lay on his paws. His tail wrapped around his body, covering his limbs for warmth, or maybe to conceal himself. It was almost as if Mudburr didn't want to stand out from the crowd, but why would that ever be?

Stars, it was tired. He'd barely been sleeping as of late, between carrying Coy's kits and his mother's murder... his failed attempt to save her... The shadowclan warrior let out a frustrated sigh. Why couldn't it's brain just shut the hell up?

It sighed, noting Shadowclan was the only clan here so far. He... wanted to meet that Windclan warrior again. He was so sure he'd met her before... something... something darkforest related perhaps? That word seemed to stick out in his mind when he thought back to all the cats he'd met as a kit, then once more, for more than a single word, the last gathering he went to.


He'd skipped the last few, not wanting to really talk to anyone since his mother's passing. It's grandmother's first instinct being to blame him still stung, but he was doing his best to ignore the family drama. The long awkward warrior took a deep breath, looking around idly.

Owlstar had no intention to be late. And, she kept her word. The tabby padded along icy ground, the texture beneath her paws loosening as sand came closer to her. Her breath came out in labored plumes as she cleared the area, her pace even yet quick. She wasn't sure who would be at the gathering, but it wasn't anything she was too worried about. Besides having to possibly deal with some nagging from Thunderclan, she felt alright on her stance with things. Getting up to the leaders perch however was a different question.

She made sure Sunheart was close by, glancing over her scarred back every so often to make sure she caught his green gaze, a matching pair of kinder, albeit more anxious eyes, not so far behind him. Salt soon hit her nose along with a fresh wave of cold. The leader paused and raised her tail. She sniffed the air. Pine and cedar mixed with the natural burn of icy waves within her lungs. Shadowclan.

Welp, it could've been worse, right? The tabby finally lowered her tail and padded forward, her gaze naturally flicking over to the Seastones. She shuffled through snow, her pace gradually slowing as her clan spilled into the beach.

Owlstar didn't give her clan a warning this time. She believed it was probably communicated time and time again that if any problems were caused, death was the penalty. Tried eyes scanned the flooding crowd for Sunheart and Berryshine. She gave the both of them an encouraging nod, however her gaze lingered on her deputy. "Wanna take a shot at climbin' Seastones, chap?"

Primroseadder followed Owlstar up onto the stones, her emerald eyes narrowed as she strode confidently to the middle of the clearing. She settled down, wrapping her tail around her paws. ''Stars, it's cold tonight!'' the RiverClanner exclaimed quietly, shivering. Primroseadder called out to a couple of her Clanmates. ''Hey, Adderstrike! Mosspaw! You two wanna come sit with me for a few moments? At least until we warm up?''

The gray and white she-cat's nose twitched, smelling the Riverclan cats before she turned her head to see them. Eyes almost as pale as the snow watched them approach. They were the clan of the hour, or at least last moon they were. Considering the news that came from there, it wasn't much of a stretch to assume they had more big things to announce.

"Warming up a spot if you want somewhere to sit." Smokefern called out to Wildflower. An invitation, if a bit cool in tone.
