Wildfoxglove cheered with all her might for Sunheart, Softshade and, Daisypaw.
The new role 'Caretaker' was of interest to Wildfoxglove. She would like to learn more about it.

[Fits]

Heroneye cheered for Softshade. She could hardly believe that she was finally a warrior... Not that she didn't believe her to be capable, of course, but... It was a big change. All in all, she was proud of her apprentice--former apprentice now.

And she cheered for Brokenstream, now Sunheart. She wasn't surprised in the least by his being named deputy. Really, it was the most logical choice, what with him having been the lead Lionheart, as well as a responsible cat in general. Maybe this means that RiverClan is in for an era of peace and stability, Heroneye thought with an amused snort to herself, remembering how many times she'd thought the exact same thing before. Well, it could happen, she supposed.

Surprisingly, Ospreypaw liked the idea of going out to see the territory. How would she fight or hunt in a place she barely knew? She had been stuck in camp for the past six moons of her life! T-that s-sound amazing! She murmured, her words tumbling out of her mouth. She ignored her stutter, gazing expectantly at Tigersplash.

The excitement Sprucekit felt had disappeared, despite Redsurge's intervention. Still, she let out a sigh of relief knowing she hadn't messed up. Good, good. She was fine. There was nothing to worry about. But then, why couldn't she take her eyes off her paws?

"Thank you." Sprucekit said quietly. "These things... I like doing things with the Clan, but I don't want to be trouble.

She very carefully looked to her apprentice as he rested his head on her. Fine by her- but man, what was it with kits and apprentices choosing to leech onto her? Out of any kind, good-at-heart warrior in the clan…her. Sunflowerflare. The argumentative pain in the ass tripod. Then the deputy. Hah. This ought to be interesting! It was Sun- WHAT THE HELL? SunflowerFlare sprang to her paws in shock, her fur all fluffing up. Oh- right-. She cast a somewhat apologetic gaze to MidnightPaw. “Sorry kid, didn’t mean t’ jostle ya too much. See, SunHearts basically my brother…came as a shock, that’s all.” she huffed, sitting back down and trying to get a grip. Her fur flattened a bit and she was open if the apprentice needed another headrest. “SUNHEART!” SunflowerFlare chanted happily (shocker for her). She could personally congratulate him later though.

Midnight sort of jumped at his mentor's sudden reaction. He smiled at them fondly, it made him happy to see Sunheart getting such recognition. ``No worries, i get it!`` He said with a laugh, before joining in with a loud: ``Sunheart!``

Sprucekit grimaced. She hadn't meant to let that out, but it turned out okay. Huh. She looked up at the warrior, the tortoiseshell's posture looking more relaxed.

"Sorry." Sprucekit shook her head. That was enough apologizing. "You don't need to worry about me, Redsurge. I'm okay."

Seabreeze

Seabreeze was happy to hear that Rowanmane regained the title that he deserved and that he thought was an unfair demotion was revoked by Owlstar, he couldn't say the same for Duskleaf. Actually he didn't think Duskleaf deserved to be a lionheart at all, but that wasn't his place to complain about. If Owlstar saw worth, who was Seabreeze to disagree with the assessment of Duskleaf's use. Sunheart was the newest deputy of the Riverclan. Unsurprising in the end. Stormstar had been head lionheart when she was named deputy under Fadingstar. Distantly, Seabreeze wondered if Owlstar would reinstate Duskleaf to his rank of head lionheart.

"Rowanmane! Rowanmane! Sunheart!" He mewed out, Seabreeze has long stopped yelling at these kind of things but he liked Rowanmane, and thought the older feline really did deserve this repromotion even with his pessimistic views of the Lionheart rank. He merely wondered how long Sunheart would last, how long Owlstar would. In Riverclan, it's never long, and letting yourself believe otherwise was a stupid and poor decisions. After near 27 moons of this happening his entire life, you couldn't set yourself up for failure anymore.

Blue eyes scanned the crowd for a certain ankle biter.

Rosemarypaw

He watched carefully, and offered some small cheers, but overall the tripod never really liked meetings. They didn't like them, too loud, hard to watch for the sounds of feathers and wing beats above all the names and murmurs and yelling. And if Rosemarypaw was inattentive, everyone would blame him when someone else died. Like Spiritbunny died, his mama. It would be his fault. Not to mention, high ranks were never good. That much was true, they always caused issues, they caused the drive out, they caused the threats of death and violence and the wars. Rosemarypaw didn't hate them, the high ranks were cats after all, but he didn't trust them either. He didn't really trust anyone. No one but Drizzlepaw. "Sunheart... and uhm Rowanmane and uhh Dusklion- no,no uh Duskleaf sorry."

Icepaw

"SUNHEART!! WOOOOOO!" The apprentice screeched on the top of their lungs as they bounded through the cats at the meeting, not really caring about any potential stomped tails or paws on his way to the front of the gathered cats. "ROWANMANE AND DUSKLEAF! AND DAISYPAW AND EVERYONE YAYYYY!" The apprentice hopped back and forth in place looking up at his Owlstar from below the skyridge. The grey tabby would have to give one of their best collected bugs to Sunheart as a congratulations gift and also one for Rowanmane and Duskleaf as well. Happy lionhearts and happy deputy, though really Icepaw doesn't really care for clan politics like most cats do. They just like any celebration.

Honeypaw

Honeypaw sat right outside the apprentice den, watching carefully as the ceremony continued. The deputy was named, and if he was remembering correctly that was the leader's heir. What Owlstar had been before Stormstar died. He flicked his tail for a moment, and looked around for Floodpaw to see what his reaction was to the cats. The golden feline was honestly not that familiar with Sunheart at all, so he wasn't if that was a good choice or not.

Marshmallow

The queen blinked opened her eyes, oh she must've slept through the beginning of the meeting. Were all her kits still here? She looked around and padded to sit by the entrance of the nursery, "Kittens? Where are all of you?" She asked softly, scanning the nursery for her litter of four, her tail swayed and then settled around her flank. She would rather her bundles of joy sat inside the nursery peering out, simply because it was too cold for them, they had more fur than her but it was still not enough for this kind of cold.

Snowykit

"TOO LOUD TOO LOUD!" The small kit was terrified out of his mind, balled up away from the nursery and as the meeting progressed people started to yell and it made already too loud to be unbearable and he can't help but just yell back because maybe then he can block out the bad meeting noise. He just wanted mama or mom. Or his siblings.
