Simply horrible, Cottonpaw’s eyes widened. He was becoming more hesitant to go now, how could something do that to another cat. The youngster had the case of the shakes something awful. ”I.I’m s.s.so s.sorry M.M.Mosspaw, m.m.maybe it w.w.was the two-legs.” Cottonpaw paused his words stuck in his throat.

”I.I.I’ll s.s.care them a.a.away.” Of course little Cottonpaw wasn’t scaring anything, but he felt like he at least owed it to his friend to try.

Sparkpaw gave a small squeal of delight when Birchfawn found her, bouncing before touching her nose to his and then bouncing again in excitement. "Yeah! Let's do it!" She chirped, stopping to look up at her mentor eagerly. "We can start training right away, yeah? Ooooo this'll be fun! So exciting!" She purred, then suddenly remembered that the meeting wasn't done and slapped her paw over her mouth abruptly. "Sorrrrry!" She murmured, glancing apologetically up at her leader and then turning back to her mentor and bowing apologetically.

Jasminepaw purred in amusement at Hawkpaw's reaction, moving her head aside from his playful swipe and moving to swipe her tail under his nose playfully. "I suppose, nothing extraordinary." She mewed with a soft laugh. "Training and the like-" She was surprised by Fleetsmoke's voice addressing her suddenly. She glanced at her mentor and then to Hawkpaw, bashfully looking at her paws as she shuffled them slightly. "A-Ah, yes." She mewed, bravely looking back at her mentor, smiling brightly. "Hawkpaw is a very good friend of mine." She mewed with a happy little chirp.

It wasn't "brave" for her to return her mentor's gaze because she was scared. Not of Fleetsmoke anyway... Jasminepaw didn't like being caught off guard. And something about the way Fleetsmoke said that...and something about referring to Hawkpaw that way...it took Jasminepaw off guard. But why? A mentor pleasantly observing that she was making friends and developing well socially was normal. And Hawkpaw was a good friend. So... Why do I almost feel...embarrassed?

Fernpaw watched his mothers teasing. Then Lightnights. The realization suddenly set in. There flirting....
Lightnight purred at Heathernoses teaseing. "I'll be your damsel in distress" lightnight jokingly sighed in defeat. As her tail touched his nose. Lightnight couldn't keep his gentle smile from creeping onto his face. The blonde stripe along his back rippled as he shifted to unwrap his tail from his paws. Suddenly. The tom looked to the side and saw Watertail, his brother and Hawkpaws mentor padding up. "Watertail" Lightnight said. Touching noses with his brother.
Watertails gruff sound said, "Lightnight. Who might this pretty shecat be?"
Lightnights eyes narrowed. Watertail was a flirt yes. But Lightnight was going good with Heathernose. And admittedly had a fat crush on her. "This is Heathernose and her son Fernpaw" Lightnight introduced. Trying to hide the annoyance in his son.
Watertail saw Lightnights tense body and gave an understanding nod. "Apologise. I'm Watertail, pleased to meet you. I just came by to say hi to my brother is all" Watertail looked at Lightnight who glared back. "See you Night" The tom said. Dipping his head to Heathernose and Fernpaw.
Lightnights tense body relaxed as his brother left. Looking at Heathernose he licked his shoulder. "Sorry about him"

Blacksky watched the meeting.

Nectarpaw cheered the apprentice's names loudly. He remember how he felt when he first became an apprentice. "Rainpaw! Sunpaw! Flickerpaw! Shrikepaw! Raccoonpaw! Burningpaw! Sparkpaw! Orchidpaw! Sunsetpaw!" The ginger tabby purred out loud.

Speaking of working with his apprentice, he was assigned a new one. Who can doubt his capabilities when he has two apprentice's to juggle? Falconbeak raised his chin proudly and stood to walk towards Shrikepaw. He bent his head downwards and waited for the apprentice to extend their noses to touch. He hope this apprentice isn't like Swanpaw and actually has a good head on her shoulders. Or is he just going to get all the mousebrained apprentices to shape up.

Oh. My. Goodness. It was really it. She was really an apprentice. Rainpaw was with Leechscar - she was kind of jealous, but also he was a little bit strict, so she wasn't too jealous. She was with... Falconbeak! Uhhh, wait she didn't know who that was, actually. It was a very cool name though!! Oh, nevermind, there he was! Looks like they gotta touch noses - she extended her snout, going through with it (she had to try very very hard not to yell BOOP as she did it). "Nice to meet you!" She whispered, "I'm so excited to start!" It took everything in her not to start running around, but that wasn't for now - she needed to be on her best behaviour.

Falconbeak simply blinked at the excited apprentice. She looked like she just wanted to jump out of her own fur. She definitely needed to let out some energy. "Well good, we'll start after the meeting then." That'll let him show her some stuff and tire her out. Maybe a tour of the territory would be enough, she was still young after all.

Fury burned within the she-cat's gut when she saw no sign of Swiftpaw. She had truly thought they were getting somewhere after talking in her den, but she seemed wrong. The leader leaped from her perch and landed among the roots, padding over to Leopardpaw who was speaking with Maggotpaw.

"Attention up here, Leopardpaw." The leader's voice sounded near the she-cat's ear as she sat before her. Leopardpaw could speak with her friends after they finished her ceremony.

"I, Twilightstar, leader of WindClan call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the warrior ways and I commend her to you in her turn. Leopardpaw, do you promise to protect and serve WindClan even at the cost of your life?"

Maggotpaw sniffs. "Good. Make sure or else. Warriors make sure. They do a hundred things all the time. Every day even. I'm thumping your shoulder now." And then they do, a short nudge from the flat top of their head before they skitter back and away with a sullen mutter of, "Okay now you gotta listen to Twilightstar so she can do the thing to you 'neveryonesgonnayellaboutitnitsnotfair—" and a little tongue stuck out at the leader for good measure, but Maggotpaw won't protest any further. If Leopardpaw wants this so dearly for herself then it had better happen.
