Make sure to congratulate Versailles on their promotion from c-mod in training to fully fledged chat moderator! They've worked very hard, and we can't wait to see where they go from here!
As Owlstar's call echoed through camp, Irisfrost took a seat in the gathering crowd, wrapping her tail around her paws. She... was not looking forward to this meeting. There would be lots of announcements, sure, important announcements like Cobwebstorm's demotion and perhaps a new deputy (Irisfrost doubted it, though- the leader likely had too much on her mind to think about her successor), but she was almost afraid to hear them. She knew why; after last meeting...
The news still troubled her. It lingered at the back of her mind, pouncing whenever her thoughts turned in its direction. The Starcave had collapsed. They had lost their only communication channel with their ancestors. They were on their own. And without StarClan watching over them, guiding them... how long were they going to last?
Irisfrost forced the thoughts from her mind. They were for later, when there wasn't a meeting about to commence, when she could be distracted and let the fear and doubt and uncertainty wash over her. Not now.

Breezepaw noticed his mentor and bounded over to her.
"Irisfrost! Hi! Can I Introduce my dad and sister? So My sister is Astersplash
(Astersplash) "Hey! Nice to meet you!"
(Breezy Boi) "Yep! And This is my dad, cranefeather!"
*Cranefeather Nods quietly*
(AHHHH my poor boi Cranefeather is still so sad about his mate)

"You did a great job today and I hope you smile a little by thinking about me at the end of the day" -Kim Hongjoong
There was a lot to talk about, and no doubt a veil of confusion over her recent decisions. Whatever it was, it wasn't a fault of their own, just poor circumstance and even worse timing. The tabby climbed atop the Skyridge, thankful that it was not nearly as frosted as Seastones. She had a few cats to reassign, and thankfully, some warriors to call. As a whole, she was pretty excited despite the underbelly of anxiety.
"Riverclan! Gather beneath the Skyridge fer a clan meetin'! Huddle close, I don't need yer tails freezin' off." she recommended. While the chill was letting up, it wasn't completely gone. She didn't trust her clanmates to sit alone until it was.
The kit looked up at the warrior. That sigh wasn't a rejection, thank Starclan. She sat as tall as she could to try and look more... mature? Confident. Even if that meant her dealing with the wind more.
"Do you know what this is about?" She whispered to Rainydawn. It was her first clan meeting, and Sprucekit had no idea what to expect.
Rainpaw gets the Living Pillow treatment as Salamanderpaw gets comfortable. She's an easy enough thing to nudge aside if need be, but in the meantime, she's gonna perch herself right where she's warmest.
"Mm. Probably for the best if it's too long instead of too short...but if anyone's getting their warrior name, I hope they get fleas." She grumbles. Salamanderpaw's looking forward to the news (somewhat; a large part of her is just dialed in anxiously, wondering if they'll learn about yet another clanmate committing yet another crime...) and a part of her will always be proud of her clanmates for their successes, but jealousy's a wicked beast that Salamanderpaw just does not know how to vanquish yet.
"Speaking of." This is where she pauses to try and nudge Rainpaw for her attention, as if the other apprentice might have somehow forgotten about the stocky calico leaning on her. "How's your training coming along?"
Rainpaw waited patiently for Salamanderpaw to settled, sinking into her own position herself to be more comfortable. It didn't throw her off in the least, her and Ravenpaw used to be in each other's space like this all time. But not lately... But the black-and-white she-cat shook that thought from her mind. She laughed softly at Salamanderpaw's comment. From what she knew of her denmate, they really didn't mean it. "I don't think you do, because it'll be us that'll have to help with the fleas." She pointed out, curling her tail upwards to be able to flick her tail-tip against her companion's ear gently. Rainpaw immediately brought her tail back down to wrap around herself though, it was too cold not to use the extra fluff from her tail for warmth.
She stiffened slightly when Salamanderpaw asked about her training. How to answer this question... It was no secret that she'd seen as many mentors as the clan had seen leaders in the same amount of moons. Honestly, she was beginning to think that StarClan hated her for some horrible reason. "F-Fine." She managed. "Despite some...obstacles I think I'm almost finished." This was true. She'd been working her tail off to finish her training, and had already finished her basic training. In truth, she was capable of being made a warrior here and now. But there were still some advanced lessons she wanted to take. "I want to do advanced swimming, basic first aid, and night hunting first." She mewed, a bit of an excited trill to her voice.
Rainpaw wasn't worried about her sister being made into a warrior before her. She knew that Ravenpaw had a lot of things she wanted to master before being made a warrior as well. But it should be soon... Besides, having to sit vigil in leaf-bare was more of a punishment than a prize. She shuddered at the thought. "How about you?" She asked, turning her head to look up at Salamanderpaw as she blinked curiously. "Do you have much left to go? Anything special you want to work on?"
Duskleaf's ear perked up as Owlstar called for a meeting, and he looked down from his tree to see the crowd beginning to gather. He quickly jumped down from the branch to land on the ground below, before making his way over to join the growing crowd. At first he was going to sit in his usual spot, but something told him not to. Then his gaze fell upon a familiar icy blue-grey warrior. Duskleaf noticed that he really liked spending time with Irisdream, he was getting to know her better now after being vaguely familiar from seeing her around camp before. Looking back towards his usual spot, he decided it could wait, and made his way over to sit beside Irisdream. "Hey Irisdream, hope you don’t mind if I join you?" He smiled slightly.
@Luna16 [Short post because I need to rush but brilliant idea!]
Irisdream's good whole ear rotated as she heard a familiar pawstep approaching. She turned and smiled at Duskleaf as he joined her. "Of course." She purred happily. She too had noticed that she was spending more and more time with Duskleaf, and truthfully she didn't mind. He was a refreshing presence for her as she began to explore who was she was now, and she figured that they had quite a bit in common. Both of them were severely misunderstood creatures, and Duskleaf seemed to be just as hard on himself as she was if not moreso (if his tree-sleeping was anything to judge that by).
"Slid over any ice lately?" She asked, the tease clearly in her voice as her eyes carried a hint of mischief. She was, of course, referencing their recent...er...adventure on the ice. Stars she wished she block the memory if how foolish she must have looked. Her fall still haunted her, and part of her wanted But...she also didn't regret it. It was time she had been able to spend with Duskleaf, so in her mind it was time well spent. They had...fun.
Tigersplash's head turned abruptly when he spotted Primroseadder. He waved his tail to her and cast a smile before rising to his paws and padding over. "Want to sit together?" He asked, waiting for her answer before he actually sat down. Just because they watched the last meeting together, he didn't want to make assumptions.
