RiverClan Warrior

As Berryshine called for herb patrols, Duskleaf descended from his tree at the call of his name, making his way over to hear the rest of the instruction. Okay, rosemary and lavender, check rock clefts. He repeated the instructions in his mind, trying to visualise the two plants. When Berryshine mentioned the smell of them, he hoped Rainpaw or Dustychill might be able to help with that part since that wasn’t going to work for him. He spotted Rainpaw standing near Berryshine, recognising her as he was pretty sure she was friends with Riftpaw. Duskleaf made his way over, greeting Rainpaw with a respectful nod. He looked around, he hadn’t met Dustychill yet but hoped maybe the warrior would be nearby. "Dustychill, we're o'er here!" He shouted, hoping to get her attention.

Dustychill's ears perk at her name and bounds over, excited for a patrol. She minds the instructions. She can't say she's seen either rosemary or lavender, but maybe she has and didn't recognize them?

As she's thinking, she hears her name called and her head whips up. Dustychill makes her way to the two cats. She didn't know them before, but she can guess the smaller cat is Rainpaw and the bigger to be Duskleaf. The dust-coloured warrior flicks her tail in greeting.

"Hello! I've never seen these herbs, but hopefully I can smell 'em out," she meows, eyes looking between the two cats.

Better late than never, right? The leader stood on the perch, once belonging to her in her previous position, and now she was back again. The tabby raised her tail before calling for attention, "Riverclan! It's time fer patrols. Perk yer ears, and settle." There was no need to be fancy, especially now.

"Mudhaze!" she eyed the warrior, wondering if it was wise to let him lead a patrol. "Take Floodpaw, Juniperberry, n' Featherpaw ta the Windclan border." she just hoped no nonsense would occur.

"Oi, Wisteriawren! Take Starrypaw, Sharkhail, n' Brokenstream out ta the Thunderclan border. Ain't got nothing fer ya to watch out fer other than yerself. But, be wary of the body a water, the banks probably slippery."

SHADOWCLAN BORDER PATROL

The leader shuffled against the cold, a slight shiver coming to her, causing her paws to tremble. She'd only been out here for a few minutes, there was no reason to chicken out. "Sunsetgleam! Aye chap, take Deerspark, Stonepaw, n' Salamanderpaw out ta the Shadowclan border."

"Boo!" She enjoyed spooking the silver tabby. "Rowanmane, I want cha ta take Talonpaw, Willowtail, n' Hollylynx ta hunt in general territory. I know there ain't much, but try ta find what cha can. I have faith in all of ya, just keep yer paws warm!"

LIONSBEACH HUNTING PATROL

"Whiterose! Go ahead n' take Aspenpaw, Heronpaw, n' Lavenderheart ta Lionsbeach. Might be able to find some crabs trying ta shield themselves from snow deep in the sand. Worth a shot, eh?" Owlstar just wanted them to do what they were supposed to, get prey for the clan. No feast was needed, but something was required.

The warrior emerged from the warrior den after having heard Owlstar calling their name for a patrol; after the events of the last gathering..well, doing a border patrol might be a good thing especially now. They weren't going to Thunderclan's border, though, so it's less likely for the patrol to get attacked all of a sudden but..they'd still be pretty wary about the rest. And Cobwebstorm..she's getting demoted too..starclan, they wondered how Berryshine's putting up with that or how Cobwebstorm herself was gonna deal with it. They just hope those two would be okay and Riverclan as a whole since Thunderclan seems like they want war, Bumblestar at least.

They walked in the clearing, keeping an eye out for any of their patrol members and call them with the usual— "Deerspark! Stormpaw! Salamanderpaw! Gather here!" okay, that wasn't exactly what they usually say, usually they just say they're her; but it still works. And they supposed it adds a variety? Salamanderpaw though..Sunsetgleam should probably keep an eye out for her..they'll see. Oh, and it was still cold too. It'll end eventually they just..gotta deal with it for a bit. Even with that in mind, they aren't really looking forward to staying out in cold temperatures for too long so..hopefully their patrolmates are on their way

Hey, she's Salamanderpaw. How 'bout that!

"Yaaay, c'mon, let's go give Shadowclan a reason to want our hides so we get the full set again. Stonepaw's kinda skinny, we could probably launch her across the marsh and she'd get serious air." A joke made in severely poor taste, but a joke nevertheless. Salamanderpaw ambles over, bottlebrush tail sticking right up and currently home to only one crinkled bit of leaf; downright sparkling clean for her, usually it's a whole dozen. Since when's the ragamuffin care so much about her appearance?

Answers shan't come today, but what does is the assurance that, "I'm ready. And I won't really launch anyone. Not at Shadowclan, anyway."

First of his patrol here, again. He supposed it's just how he is. That or he waisted to much time sitting around the clearing and waiting for patrols to be called. DON'T BLAME HIM! He's just bored...okay? Tis not fun being stuck in smelly cold camp all day, he supposed he should organize some training with his new mentor but it was just difficult. He wasn't postponing or procrastinating it no no no. It just felt weird to have a new mentor when he was so close to finishing his training. He'd grown attached to Floodsight and who could blame him. He missed her and he should've known she had left. He should've known she would leave! Like every other cats in his life. His siblings, his mom, his new mom, his friends, his idol, his second idol, his mentor. Who else. Who else? Was Mari gonna leave too!!??

Marigoldpaw wasn't going anywhere, that he was certain or at least hoped. He didn't want to lose anyone else, none of his denmates either. Welp he supposed he'd just put on a smile and get through the day like he did everyday because everything was always OK in riverclan.

The clan of STABILITY and TRUST. Where there was no WORRIES!! at all. Aspenpaw frowned, he was really getting tired of this pattern, he half expected to wake up and find a new leader or someone else dead. Was this just how life was or was riverclan stuck. With no help. From damned starclan. He clenched his teeth and breathed in a deep and a bit to forceful of a breath. Calm. Calmmmm. That's it. Shoving that smile back into place he looked around and waited for his patrol mates.

Hearing her name for patrol the molly rushed over with excitement. Her first one since joining the clan? Sweet. She would finally be useful. The former outsider didn't really know who her patrolmates were, but she was going to find them. She saw some cats group up, so maybe it wouldn't be too hard? Yeah it was that hard. Heronpaw looked around nervously. Should she just stand there and let them come to her? No she needed to find them.

She looked around for possibly a cat standing by themselves. Seeing Ashenpaw who she didn't know by name she moved over to them. maybe they could help her find her patrol.

"Hey I'm Heronpaw. I'm still rather new from joining not even a moon ago, so I don't know very many cats here. Do you know who either Whiterose, Ashenpaw or Lavenderheart is?", she asked. Of course he would probably know who they were. He wasn't new like her. She was such an idiot. Heronpaw licked her chest fur in embarrassment and nervousness. Part of her wanted to run and hide, but she had a task to complete. Well once she found the others.
