The apprentice was just trudging in the snow, startling herself when a fellow apprentice approached. She thought to stop, but it would just slow her down, so she followed Lalicpaw quietly.”Y..Yeah, it’s..nice..” they quietly mew, flicking a snowflake off their ear. Assuming that snow was the little white feathers falling, she gently opened her maw to softly respond. “Do you..like it, t-too?”

The young brown tabby apprentice was unaware of any tensions that may appear between the two clans. They were too focused on the fact that they finally get to meet the other clans! Hivepaw followed the rest of their clan mates before spreading out to find someone to talk to. Their green eyes landed on a grey tabby apprentice who looked as excited as themselves. They were young too, so they shouldn't be immediately better than them.
Hivepaw hopped over to the apprentice, resisting the urge to wrinkle their nose. Yuck.. What's that nasty smell? Did all Riverclan cat's smell like that or was this one just especially stinky. "Hi, I'm Hivepaw! I'm from Thunderclan!" The stripped tabby tilted their head. "You're Riverclan right? Do you know how to swim?"
As Duskleaf padded into the gathering place, he instinctively looked around for a certain cat. Okay so RiverClan were the first to arrive he pretty quickly established. Duskleaf was actually surprised the clan even came this time, with Stormstar having recently passed away and Owlstar not being leader for very long. Yet he was pleasantly surprised. The gathering would be a relief to him, guilt still lingering from not being able to save Frigidfang. "If another cat's injured or dies because of me…" he whispered to himself, not knowing how to finish. It was a relief that he'd finally be able to see his sister again. Instinctively, Duskleaf looked around for his apprentices. Beaverpaw must not be here yet, but he spotted Riftpaw walking along next to Brokenstream. It made him smile slightly, it was nice to see Riftpaw had some good friends, and Duskleaf knew Brokenstream was a great friend to have.
Padding over to where Brokenstream and Riftpaw were, Duskleaf gave a friendly nod before sitting down, curling his tail around his paws to keep them warm, it was freezing here! "Riftpaw, there ye are!" He said. "I take it my sister's not here yet?" He looked around, to see if Snakefang was coming anytime soon, but also to see if Beaverpaw was around. The young cat looked somewhat uncomfortable at the last gathering when he wasn’t with Duskleaf and Riftpaw.
Snakefang felt as if her paws were about to freeze as she entered the gathering, looking to Mintwhisper beside her. "I think I see him down there." She pointed with her tail to the small group gathering. As she got closer, Snakefang recognised her brother's leafy grey pelt. Yep, that was definitely him. And Riftpaw was next to him, and…oh, was that the cat she fought during the battle and spoke to at a gathering? What was his name again, Brokenstream, was it? She'd have a good laugh winding him up again!
Snakefang made her way towards the group, with Mintwhisper not far behind but still out of sight. She sat down next to Duskleaf, it was nice to see her brother again, even if it was way too cold for a gathering in her opinion. "Duskleaf, good to see ye." She said, then turned her head to look at Riftpaw. "How're ye doin', Riftpaw?" Oh, and then she looked at Brokenstream. "Missed me, Brokenstream?" She said with a mrrow of amusement. "Oh, I’ve brought someone with me this time. Hope ye don’t mind." Not that she cared if anyone did mind.

Mintwhisper followed Snakefang over to the group of cats. Would Duskleaf even remember her after all these seasons? After Snakefang mentioned that she'd brought her along, Mintwhisper walked past the small group to Duskleaf. Her eyes filled with tears of joy as she rushed over to affectionately nuzzle the RiverClan warrior. "I've missed you so much…" She softly whispered. Surprised, Duskleaf backed away, unsure of what she was on about. Mintwhisper stepped back, looking at him. "You don’t remember me…do you?"
Silverleopard strode over to Seastones with confidence, following Bumblestar into the clearing. The silver-and-white Bengal gave a twitch of her curled ears as she sat down.
Sunflowerpaw followed suit, her muscles rippling beneath her golden-and-cream form. She sat down near the edge of the stones, freezing in the shadows.
Cormorantswoop's black, braided tabby pelt was as dark as the shadows as she sat near the edge of the clearing as well, her green eyes glinting.
Covepaw stuck close to her Clanmates, her ears twitching nervously. Fadedpaw did the same.
Vixenshadow and Squirrelbriar followed their leader into the clearing.

Caveclaw semi-regrets going to this gathering.
Only because of how cold it is.
She's not the best with snow.
Walking in it was basically bare paws is not her... favorite experience.
But, here they are. Making themself handle it for the sake of being present.
And, she hasn't been to a gathering since her leg broke, so that's another reason.
Caveclaw finds place to sit, what fur she has as puffed up as possible.

He doesn't like Gatherings, he's never sure why he goes.
Actually, why does he go? Why is he here?
He can't think of a reason besides the fact that most other cats in the clan go, so he goes to.
Kind of a... dumb reason.
Anyway, he spots Duskleaf and Riftpaw again.
It looked like they were talking to... what was her name, Snake... something? He can't remember.
There was also someone unfamiliar.
He debates going over, only because of the unfamiliar cat, but he also doesn't wanna be alone at a gathering.
So he quietly walks over.
You know what's annoying? This is his first gathering. That's annoying.
Because of that stupid sickness, no other clan has been able to bask in his glory!
He's making sure to change that today, even if it's just by being there.
His presence is enough!

Cold, cold, cold!
Snow is cold!
Butterflypaw takes large steps, trying to touch the snow as little as possible with her paws, though this strategy isn't very successful since snow is covering the whole ground.
She quickly realized she's gonna have to sit in it too.
Hmm.
New plan!
Butterflypaw is now trying to sit on her tail so her paws won't touch as much, and she looks a little ridiculous while attempting this.
His breath clouded the air in front of him as the large tom followed his Clan into the clearing. This would be his first Gathering since his return. His first Gathering where he could see…No. Raggedear jerked his head to the side, as if backing away from a claw trying to scratch him. He couldn’t think like that anymore. He couldn’t think about her anymore. He was a Hornet, stars damn it, and he was going to prove that he had earned this spot on the team. Nothing was more important than ThunderClan now.
Still, his heart ached. Why? He barely even knew her. Besides, everyone knows how he is…he just likes to flirt. It’s…fun. It’s…nothing. And it never would be. However, yellow eyes still wandered…

Brokenstream is RiverClan’s Head Lionheart - If You Need Him, Mention Me
Been a hot, hot minute since she's set foot into one of these. That Thunderclan are their only other company at first doesn't escape her notice and doesn't fail to make her patched coat bristle, but it's not the kind of anger that makes her want to stomp on over to any of them to start bickering. No, uh...Salamanderpaw finds she's more than willing to keep to it to herself, tonight. Post-Smallpines, the thought of getting into it with a Thunderclanner here just makes her uncomfortable. And to think all her ire toward the other clans had once been the sort of thing she'd been ready to bare her claws over.
Maybe it's just the cold.
The cobby little cat picks herself out a nice spot to loiter, using one paw to brush away any clinging snow so that she can settle in and be almost comfortable for the night. She's in no sort of mood to hunt for rocks, either, or so she'll say...but the shore does look mighty tempting...

SNOWCRUNCH - [ THUNDERCLAN WARRIOR ]
[ OPEN POST ]
>> He entered the Seastones with quiet, practiced tension — his posture straight, watchful, like a boulder rooted in the river’s current. The wind bit through his fur, testing the stillness within him. His sharp gaze swept over the gathered cats, cataloging them, weighing the air thick with unsaid words.
No room for idle chatter here. Snowcrunch had learned that long ago. But tonight, there was an edge of impatience buried under his usual reserve. The other clans would speak, and he would listen. Too much had changed in his own — too much that unsettled him, though he would never admit it. He was used to change. He had to be.
He found a spot near the edge, where he could stay out of the way but still watch. A sliver of space between the murmurs and shadows. Unmoving, he watched Bumblestar take her place at the Seastones. He waited. The storm was coming. It happens every full moon.

Cougarpaw struts over with his usual confident swagger, his amber eyes gleaming as he spots Salamanderpaw. He’s never met the other apprentice, but that doesn’t stop him from acting like he owns the place.
“Didn’t think RiverClan apprentices came out this far,” he says with a cocky grin, sitting down not far from Salamanderpaw. He flicks his tail, unbothered by the cold air. "You lost, or just avoiding the ThunderClan cats?" His tone is teasing, but there’s no real malice in it—he’s just the type to speak first and think later.
“Name’s Cougarpaw,” he continues, clearly not waiting for an invitation to talk. “You RiverClanners always this quiet, or is it just me?” He stretches out lazily, watching Salamanderpaw with a curious gleam in his eyes, but he’s also clearly confident enough that he won’t be intimidated by the other apprentice’s silence.
