Caterpillarpaw smiled, purring. "Soon.. Once I learn everything. I gotta learn everything first!" He chuckled. His tail wrapped around his dad, though it wouldn't provide much warm as it was mostly short-furred.

Bluestrike smiled, nodding. I know you'll work hard. He answered, looking up at Twighlightstar as she continued the ceremony.

Caterpillar turned his head to listen to Twilightstar as she spoke.
(Ima stop replying at this, but will have Cater react to the ceremony and stuff. Then after I'll have Cater get some sleep and wake up eventually to harass his dad for more training!)

/ GRACKLEKIT \
stocky gray tabby with a beige overcoat and bright blue eyes; silver tongue t1
[ windclan kit | tomcat | 5 moons | mischievous, charismatic, adventurous ]

"No, you can't take a joke, you didn't even get mine—" Gracklekit started to protest to Crowkit's whine, but in a moment he was cut off by Egretkit's squeaky announcement of Papa's arrival. Eyes gleaming, the gray-and-beige tom sat tall, puffing out his chest. He'd already groomed himself to a shine just in case this had been the day—one had to look good 'n prepared, after all—but his father made sure to cover all the spots that the kit had looked over in his mad rush to get out for the ceremony.
He heard Hawkfur's voice thickened in emotion and chuckled, a grin on his maw. "Hey, Papa, don't sweat it! We totally got this... we're gonna be WindClan's next greatest warriors! You'll see," he assured, confidence oozing out of every syllable. Still, the flicker in his bright blue gaze betrayed his appreciation for his father's pride. If anything, it only boosted his ego more. And before he could say much else, Twilightstar's call began; he listened intently, hardly able to suppress a purr of excitement once he heard himself and his siblings summoned amongst the other kits. Stars, there were a lot. At once he rose to his paws, striding forward with large, confident steps—waitwaitwait, Crowkit was trying to get there first! Not if he had anything to say about it.
Gracklekit rushed up next to his brother, leaving a spot for Eges once she caught up. As they sat together, he scanned the assembled cats, hardly able to keep himself from wriggling in excitement. The to-be-apprenticed kit caught Crowtooth's eye and grinned, shuffling his prickling paws. Everyone was here! Yesyesyes... oh, he could feel every nerve in his body alight with energy, bumping his broad shoulders against his siblings as he shifted restlessly.

Re: WindClan Galewood
Magnoliakit
medium-furred, small, snow-white albino with very pale, blind blue eyes
purrks: n/a
she/her | windclan kit | 6 moons
The moment she heard her name be called up, a sniffle of nervousness quickly ran throughout her body. Her pale, unfocused eyes widening as the sound of Twilightstar’s voice echoed through the camp. Her heart thumped loudly in her chest, and for a fleeting moment, she felt as though the earth beneath her paws had shifted. She had been lingering near the nursery entrance, her tail twitching absently as she pawed at a stray leaf caught in a gust of ice-cold wind. Now, however, her limbs seemed frozen in place, the weight of the moment pressing down on her as if the sky itself had leaned in to listen. She swallowed hard, her paws flexing instinctively as if searching for solid ground. The wind tugged at her fur, carrying with it the mingling scents of her clan-mates The sharp tang of pine needles clinging to fur, the fresh, crisp breath of the open moor, and the familiar, comforting musk of her littermates somewhere nearby. Each scent rooted her further into the present, yet her paws still felt as though they were drifting. She forced herself to breathe, a shallow gasp that did little to calm the whirlwind churning in her chest. What if she tripped on her way forward? What if she couldn’t find her place in the line? The thought curled around her mind like brambles, tightening with every heartbeat. Her claws scraped softly against the dirt, a feeble attempt to tether herself.
Slowly, she unfurled her legs, rising as if in a dream, each step hesitant, testing the ground before her as though it might give way. Magnoliakit’s tail curled tightly against her side as she took a hesitant step forward, her paws brushing against the familiar grooves worn into the camp floor by countless ceremonies before her. She tried to focus on the feel of the earth beneath her, grounding herself with the textures she knew so well—the firmness of packed dirt, the coolness of the wind, the comforting scent of maple bark that still clung faintly to her fur from her earlier climb. This wasn’t just any moment; this was the moment, the one she had daydreamed about in quiet moments while her siblings tumbled around her in play. The murmurs of her clan-mates were faint against the rush of her own pulse, her ears twitching at the sounds of shifting paws and soft breaths held in shared anticipation. Somewhere nearby, she caught the familiar scent of one of her sisters—Skykit, maybe?—her excitement vibrating in contrast to the stone-heavy silence in her own throat. She clenched her jaw and took another step forward. Magnoliakit kept her focus low, her sightless eyes staring unseeingly at the ground as she moved, relying on memory and the subtle scents that signaled her path. The sun brushed her fur, warming her just enough to remind her that she wasn’t alone, even if the vast openness of camp felt impossibly wide now.
Her whiskers twitched as the familiar, soothing scent of her mother, Leopardsong, reached her nose, cutting through the swirl of nerves clouding her senses. The mixture of warmth and the subtle pang of melancholy clung to the air, a bittersweetness that tugged at something deep inside her. She whipped her head around instinctively, her unfocused gaze seeking the presence she knew so well. Her heart gave a small, steadying thump as she pinpointed Leopardsong’s position, sitting just outside the nursery. The white bengal’s copper eyes, though unseen, felt as though they burned with pride and sorrow alike, a complex mixture of emotions that Magnoliakit could feel even without seeing them. For a heartbeat, everything else seemed to fall away—the distant murmurs of clan-mates, the biting wind that swept across the moor, even the pressure of Twilightstar’s commanding presence. In that fleeting moment, it was just her and her mother. Her claws pressed lightly into the ground, and her chest tightened with a longing that surprised her, a small voice in the back of her mind whispering how much things would change after today. The nursery would no longer be her sanctuary, no longer filled with the warmth of her mother’s belly and the gentle nudge of her littermates at her side. A soft pang of grief settled under her ribs, but she straightened her shoulders, her jaw tightening with quiet resolve. Her mother had always been a grounding force, her voice a steady current that could calm even the wildest storm of Magnoliakit’s fears.
Knowing Leopardsong was watching, feeling her presence there, gave her the strength she needed to keep moving forward. She flicked her tail toward the nursery entrance in a silent acknowledgment, a gesture filled with gratitude and affection. Even if words failed her in the moment, her heart burned with silent promises—she wouldn’t let this new chapter take her too far from her mother’s warmth. But there wasn’t time to linger in sentimentality. Magnoliakit pulled herself together, focusing on the path ahead as she made her way closer to her littermates. She tucked herself neatly into the line, her fur brushing lightly against one of her sisters. The pressure of their shared presence grounded her, the familiar scents of home and kin seeping into her senses like a balm for her nerves. Still, a small tremor lingered in her limbs as she lowered her head slightly, her sightless eyes half-closed as if to shut out the overwhelming awareness of her clan-mates’ attention. She felt like a seedling, freshly sprouted and trembling in the breeze, its roots shallow but yearning to dig deeper, to anchor itself in the soil. She pressed her paws firmly into the dirt once more, seeking that connection to the earth, to her future, as Twilightstar’s words continued to weave a moment of significance around them all.For now, she breathed deeply, focusing on the present—on the steady rhythm of her heart and the warmth of her siblings at her side. She was ready. Or at least, she would be. One pawstep at a time.

Lichenshock
~<>~
20 moons || she/her || WindClan Warrior || honed skill [INACTIVE]
scrawny calico with one blind eye; blue eyes
Lichenshock isn't late. She's tooootally not poking her nose into camp after being out on the moors attempting to hunt (prey was not running well today, unfortunately... she'd given up with the promise that she'd go out again later) and slides her way very casually into the crowd. Doesn't seem like she'd missed very much. New apprentices were lining up to get their names and mentors and it looked like behind them some apprentices were ready to get their names!! Cool!!

Re: WindClan Galewood
Frostkit grinned, with his sharp, not yet grown up teeth making the look a little more murderous. Only to get bodied by his twin, leaving the patched kitten huffing and rebalancing so he didn't go toppling over at his own meeting, with a glare shot at his twin. Frostkit huffed again with a snap of his teeth, his reply to his sibling paired with the lashing of his tail. The idea of more interaction to both Jaggedpaw and Strawb was overshadowed as Twilightstar called his name. OH! LETS GOOOOO!! The kitten raced to the front of the crowd, not paying mind to any tails he may have stomped or cats he may have pushed on the way up, focused on making sure there was no way he missed his name this time.
Sure enough, as per usual, the meeting fell into chaos. The different voices all falling into one large amalgamation and utterly impossible to understand anymore. But also! The difference is that rather than shutting his eyes against the overwhelming nature of all the noise, the kit kept his eyes on whatever other kits he knew would likely be called up this meeting. The ginger was surprised when this tactic worked. The last of the snowykits was called up, and other kits were making their way up to the front of the crowd as well. NOW! Patchkit got to his paws and made his way through the crowd, periodically wincing and pausing but he eventually made it and stared hard at the leader. Trying to focus on her muzzle so that he could see when she started to speak so he could really really try and listen!

Re: WindClan Galewood
Coldkit
[ 3 moon | She / Her | Wc kit | Heightened Perception: Touch ]
Her name was called from atop the large tree, and her head slowly lifted as though she hoped the waves would better reach her ears. Some of her siblings were called up too, but Coldkit hesitated for a moment. She had attended enough meetings to know they were being apprenticed, but was it fair to do so without the rest of them? Were they not here? They weren't with her in any case, and the eyeless one sat still for several moments.
She could feel the ground beneath her paws quiver from the stampede of paws that moved about the ground, a large group ahead. Meetings were overwhelming, often times; they were loud, had many smells and it made orientation difficult even if she had improved since her last inexplicable escapades. She had taken her mother's advice to heart, and at the very least tried to improve herself in that aspect.
This very much felt like a final test; to see if she would make it and be apprenticed, or would have to remain an apprentice for a while longer. Coldkit pursed her lips and tapped the ground with her own paws, trying to ground herself and remember that soil wouldn't be pulled from beneath her feet. There was no one to help her right now, she would do it alone.
Getting up, a lengthy tail trailed along the soil, picking up dust and dirt, as she let the tips of her paws drag over the ground as she began to walk. Her head was lowered, but her ears stood erect, keen on picking up the approaching sounds she had to avoid and the trembles of other approaching cats beneath her paws. The meeting was crowded, and the kitten had a few slip-ups where she stepped on a tail, bumped into a back or nearly stepped on a paw suddenly appearing in her way -- but she was doing better, focused on her surroundings, and remained devoid of a big catastrophe until she reached the front, unharmed.
She slowly lifted her head, angling it aside hearing a voice; it had an air about it, of certain sophistication and arrogance, different from that of Rainkit -- Rainkit whom she feared would scream if she realised they were being apprenticed first. But Coldkit tried not to deter herself with that, ears flicking and maw opening to call out ahead of her;
"Cinderkit?"
She asked, although she was already certain of his presence. Carefully, the kitten attempted to move closer to his person, finding a strange comfort in the presence of her siblings. It was inexplicable in some way; no matter how loud or persistent they were, Coldkit appreciated their presence around her. She would rather share this moment with some of them, than be lacking all of their presences.

Come gather at the front for your apprentice ceremonies." Where were her kits? It dawned on Twilightstar that her kits were old enough to start their apprenticeships, but oddly enough she only found four of them among the gathered cats. The leader had more than four kits where the heck were the other ones?
A shiver shakes the she-cat's body as a fierce breeze storms through the camp. She swings her head from side to side as her single eye searches her babies. She supposes they could be sleeping. It didn't sit well with her to hold ceremonies for those she spotted and not the others. But it would be quite unfair for her not to treat her kits as she would the rest of the clan's kits. She was tempted to call them to see if they came, but having fourteen kits was quite a big number for WindClan as it was. They'd just have to wait an extra moon for their ceremonies.
"Birchpaw, Hollypaw, and Fallenpaw. Come sit behind them, I'll take care of your ceremonies after."

COLDSPARK / HE/HIM / 29 MOONS / APP: WHITE TOM WITH LARGE BLACK SPOTS AND BLUE EYES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ColdSpark let out a sigh as he looked up at TwilightStar, his gaze unmoving.
Yes, great. More trouble-makers is just what was needed. How fantastic..
He would never admit it, but Stars, ColdSpark wasn't very fond of apprentices, mainly the young ones. Kits. Even if he was once one, that doesn't change his mind on them. Kits are annoying and bothersome to him..
Although he has his acceptions.
To say the least, if he were to ever get an apprentice, he'd be quite harsh on them. A "mean" mentor trains their apprentices the best. Push them until they get it right.
