Owlwing stumbled into the clearing, scratched up and bruised. He was disoriented and confused. Owlwing had stumbled away from the camp and being a new warrior in the clan, had not known how to get back. Dawnstar had just finished speaking. He stumbled into the warriors den and collapsed on a bed of moss.

The warrior she-cat (despite her long coat) was shivering in the cold. Between that and her still lingering snake bite injuries, she didn’t feel great. SpiderThorn didn’t seem to be making an appearance as she poked out the warriors den. That meant no warmth for her to suck out of the tom who…with short fur…worked as a heater. It literally wasn’t fair. She was sure that he was shivering cold but really? Her long fur should really help her some more. Instead, she hopped her way over, keeping weight off of her leg that the snake bite injury lingered right above. Let’s see…who could I intrude on this unfairly cold day? Hmm…ah! MistleWhisker. As the deputy loafed she couldn’t help but have a glint of admiration linger in her warm brown eyes. Literally everything she hoped to be. Not a deputy, but just an absolute girl boss. (And the deputy may be a sort of ‘friend crush’ to her…y’know…someone you really want to be friends with cause they’re so cool.) So…she hobbled over and dipped her head respectfully. “Mind if I join ya?”

Mistlewhisker glanced up at the approaching Bristlethorn, jerking her chin in affirmation to the warrior's request to sit with her. She hadn't intended on sitting with anyone but she wasn't entirely against it, either. Besides, Bristlethorn seemed to know enough not to encroach on her space too much. But the warmth that flowed between them would help ease the bitterness of the air around them, surely.
Dawnstar's kittens making a fuss wasn't surprising, but it seemed that both her mate and Bleedingpaw had a handle on the situation so the Deputy merely sat back.
Wispypaw You walk along the edge of danger + she/her[they/them to those she has told] + Heightened Perception [hearing, active]
This was going to be another meeting over the same stuff as last time, ceremonies and all that jazz. It never seemed to change unless something happened in the background that they hadn't been aware of. So it was natural that they zoned out for a portion of the meeting, none of it pertained to them anyway. Wispypaw did keep an ear out for the new apprentices and warriors to be made. They inched closer to the gathering, for once making fur contact with some random cat, for now, they ignored that part. They heard their sibling's and twin's names called to the front, another sibling had made it to the rank of warrior. They were slacking in their training, or at least it felt like they were, they refused to be stuck as a paw for any longer than necessary.
Otherwise, they'd seem like some sort of joke of the family, which they weren't! They curled their tail over their paws to hide them digging their claws into the ground in frustration at themselves. Wispypaw let out an almost silent huff before trying to face away from the crowd. Of course, they were glad to see another sibling make it but that didn't mean that they weren't a bit jealous at the moment, that feeling couldn't be ignored outright. The dark feline was planning to only continue to idly listen, to hear their sibling's new names until grandmother spoke mosshead's name and that rookwhatever's afterward. They had already noticed the lack of presence of Moss's silly nickname for them, but surely that just meant they were busy with their job?
That wasn't the case here, a part of them didn't like the way all of that was worded out for the clan to hear. Part of them was starting to convince themself that the other name mentioned had something to do with Moss's disappearance. They never did like that Rook guy in the first place but then again it wasn't hard for one to get on their dislike list nowadays. It also didn't help that they also had no trust for clan hoppers and if they heard correctly, that rook guy originally came from another clan. They didn't move an inch from their spot not even a turn of their head to even try facing the mentioned cat at where ever they might be sitting at.

Larkbreeze's eyes widened. She was to train Whitepaw? A surprise it was, but it was a welcome one. Getting to her paws, Larkbreeze padded over to Whitepaw and touched noses with her. ´´I expect you to listen, young one. There's a lot I have to teach you, yet not enough time.´´
Cougarpaw ShadowClan Apprentice
She / Her ; 5 Moons 1 / 100
Cougarpaw beamed. She was an apprentice! Looking around for her mentor - Brightstripe, the name was - the newly named apprentice bounded over to the black she-cat and touched noses with her. ´´Hi! I'm Cougarpaw!´´

As Dawnstar made it to solid ground and headed over to her and Quietpaw, Pondpaw stood. The young she-cat met her leader's gaze, head and tail held high. Her mew rang around the clearing, soft yet confident. ´´I do.´´
YES !! AN APPRENTICE !! Brightstripe was just as excited as Cougarpaw probably was as they approached her. She touched noses with the new apprentice. "I'm Brightstripe!" she responded. "Just a warning this is my first time training an apprentice. I'll still be good at it though!"
Huddle? Psh... Briarsplash was fine on her own. Thankful for her thick overcoat, the Enforcer padded into the meeting with her fur fluffed out and her tail flicking away the piling snow that threatened to rest on her gray-and-beige fur. She cleared off a spot on the deadened grass to sit, doing her best to hide her cringe as her bottom met the cold, damp ground. Thankfully for her, her naturally long pelt kept her warm, though it was still cold enough that the she-cat subtly shivered as she sat alone — though she kept it in mind to hide it, not wanting to portray 'weak' by any means. Even something as simple as shivering. Her head tilted up to watch Dawnstar, figuring this would be the meeting where the whole medicine cat situation would finally be discussed, just like they had at Mossy Lookout.

Hillstrider trotted across the clearing midway through the meeting, muttering apologies to anyone he accidentally crossed in front of on his way towards a special someone he saw sitting all alone. "Hey, Briarsplash!" He whispered, practically falling on top of her with how close he sat. "Hope I didn't miss much--hey that's my apprentice!!" His voice raised a little, and he waved his tail vigorously at Quietpaw. Good for her! It was about time she was given her warrior name. Aw man, that meant both of Hillstrider's apprentices had become warriors. He was such a good mentor! (But you didn't even do anything /ref)
'Yes, I know you think you're ready for your ceremony. I've decided to wait one more moon before you and your siblings are apprenticed.'
Grottokit scowled. He was ready! What was unclear about that? He didn't need to wait for his siblings, he could get started now and be ahead of them within the moon. Why wait at all?
He knew better than to argue, though. Ears flat, Grottkit muttered, "Yes, Mother," and inched back to give the others room.

"hello I'm Blackpaw. but I hope when I become a warrior I'll get back my shadow part of my name." Blackpaw mews touching his nose to his mentors
"I'll learn all I can from my mentor and watch and learn from her I'll become a great warrior for my clan." Blackpaw mews cofendently thinking his mentor didn't hear this.
Meadowwhisper side eyed her apprentice for his little monologs. Meadow was a very straight forward cat. "This is Blackpaws on cat show. Your here to learn. But I'll teach you well" she mewed

A wide smile spread out on Cougarpaw's maw as Brightstripe touched noses with her. ´´And I'll be just as a good of an apprentice as you are a mentor!´´ She responded cheerfully, her feathery tail swaying back and forth behind her. The mottled tan, cream, and white she-cat's dark blue hues met the green ones of her mentor.

´´Looks like I'm not the only one teaching an apex predator anymore,´´ Sootstorm's voice sounded from behind Brightstripe as she padded over to her adoptive sister, her emerald hues full of pride. Her whiskers twitched. She was clearly happy for Brightstripe. ´´Congrats, sis.´´ Sootstorm mewed, beckoning her own apprentice, Lionpaw, over to her with a wave of her tail.
He has been watching the leader…he was one of few sitting alone in the crowd, simply fighting the cold on his own. That was the best way. It built endurance, he’d be stronger. His mentor and her (loud) conversation caught his ear…then he glanced over as the words an apex predator fell from her mouth. Hmph. He’ll be as fierce as one, and fiercer than whoever this other apprentice was too. Then SootStorm was beckoning him over. He really didn’t want to move. He was already building his own bit of warmth, but whatever. He went over, remaining silent.
