This was a complete disaster, it was only getting worse, and Duskleaf knew he had no one to blame for it but himself. Everything Dusklion was saying was true! What could he even say? There was no way to defend what he'd done, nor would he have any ground to stand on if he tried. And this was way above something an apology would sort, maybe it was a start, but it certainly wouldn’t be enough, not for endangering the entire clan. And then as if he didn’t already feel as if he’d ruined everything, that’s when Dusklion brought up that RiverClan's fallen had been buried here as well, now it wasn’t safe to visit them either. Then she ordered him to explain to Fadingstar when he returned what had happened.

"I know it's not enough…but I really am sorry about this, it's a terrible thing I've done and I don't blame you if you never forgive me for this…" He lowered his head and didn’t say anything else, there was nothing else he could say right now.

Dusklion - RiverClan Deputy

Finally catching sight of her brother, the deputy headed over to him. It was clear she was pissed by the fire in her blue eyes. She had half a mind to ask him why he hadn't made any sort of announcement sooner about the borders, but the issue with Duskleaf was more pressing. Her ears flicked in response to his apology but she didn't respond for now. On the way there, the deputy winced as her paw landed on something rather sharp. Lifting it up she noticed a sandbur. Already irritated she let out a soft growl and yanked it out with her teeth and tossed it far off to the side before continuing on.

"We've got a problem." There was no point in skirting around the cattails, so Dusklion decided to dive right in. "Redmire was out by the border, 'n per your orders Duskleaf went to stop her. Didn't give Redmire any punishment since she was out after you made your announcement - 'side from tellin' her to stay away from the borders - but our very own head Lionheart might need one. Apparently he gave away our spot to a couple of WindClan cats across the border, who I'm sure by now've gone 'n told Twilightstar."
