Slowly Adderpaw moved over to the floodstone. She was just so tired. She could only hope for good news to brighten her up.

Fallenwish had been resting in the medicine den, trying to take up the least space possible, and was worrying about her future position, as usual. Maybe I can learn how to contact Starclan? Wait, no, it’s spiritual… or, something. But how could have Starclan foreseen this? Maybe they’d choose a cat. But then, that’s a one-in-140-or-something chance. Plus, I know I’m just doing this for attention. Right?

Then, she heard Queen Birdsnow call. Crap, she wasn’t ready! What if the queen would choose the medicine cats today? Crud. Maybe if I clean up fast enough… She frantically licked her pelt until she looked the best she could get it. Wait. What do looks have to do with this? I seriously just wasted fifteen seconds of my life, didn’t I? That is a very me thing to do. Fallenwish hopped over to the clearing, shifting her gaze to Queen Birdsnow.

Seabreeze looked up from where he was working on repairing the warrior’s den alongside Adderpaw and Fading sun to see Birdsnow calling Riverclan to attention. The Tom shook out his pelt lightly, as to prevent agitating any of his injuries but they still stung and his tail burned.

The warrior turned to Adderpaw and Fadingsun, a nervous tone in his mew as he spoke, “If you guys wanted…I-I mean you can sit with me. I’ll return to building after the meeting.” With that the tom padded over to the gathering cats. Settling among the crowd before giving his full attention to Birdsnow.

His leader looked worse for wear but it was as if she didn’t feel a single scratch in her body, it was…impressive but worrying. Seabreeze didn’t want Birdsnow collapsing from overworking herself, he cared for her in the a warrior cared for their leader but also….Riverclan would fall with her likely.

With a shiver treading down his damaged spine, Seabreeze growled to himself and shook his head to clear it of such awful thoughts. Birdsnow was alright. Everything would be okay. Riverclan would heal.

Fluttermane looked at Treepaw, they seemed quite happy. And once she heard Treepaw say that he was gonna be a warrior, she was very happy. "Congratulations!" She shouted. "It's always very exciting to make the transition from apprentice to warrior. I remember when it happened for me" She meowed as she looked up at the Floodstone. "What other news do you think will be announced this meeting?" She asked Treepaw.

Sparrowsnarl lumbered into the clearing, drawn by the voice of Birdsnow. Birdstar soon enough, he supposed. He settled near the camp entrance, the battle fresh in his mind and making him a little twitchy about intruders. He supposed this meeting was going to be a long one, so he allowed himself to get comfortable.

Eaglekit poked her head out of the medicine den, wariness in her gaze. A clan meeting... yes, she supposed that was warranted. She slowly made her way out, settling at the edge of the crowd and searching for Cobwebpaw.
