Well, Sunsetpaw has had a thought about that before...about Gingerfrost not getting any lives from Starclan. Afterall, Beansprout didn't get any lives probably because his leadership wasn't genuine so it's maybe just that starclan doesn't trust Gingerfrost with any lives. At least Gingerfrost still got one life. Sunsetpaw agreed to what Gingerfroststar said. Of course! Lives don't make a leader, it's what the cat does that makes that cat a leader. Though still, leaders are going to have to possibly lead their clan in battle(as much as Sunsetpaw hate battles and fights) most of the time and such so it still sucked. They knew starclan can deny lives considering Beansprout but it was still quite suprising about Gingerstar's case considering he actually earned his leadership spot. They are definately mad at Beansprout's actions.

Sunsetpaw looked around; it was a bit confusing why some cats decided to leave the meeting already considering Gingerstar hasn't said it's over yet. Odd, they haven't seen things like this happen. But Sunsetpaw just sat still there, not wanting to leave the meeting yet. Soon, Gingerstar confirmed this meeting wasn't over yet, probably making some cats go back to their seats. They had a bit of guilt about the battle with windclan, they didn't do even a single thing. Neither do they know how to fight nor want to. They really, really could've help. Even one of their clanmates died in the fight...Kestrelpaw...Kestrelskies...they didn't know the cat very well though it's still saddening to hear the news. And Falmebriar too; making the death count up to two cats. They had a frown on their face, looking at the ground next to where they sat. Wherever these two are right now, Sunsetpaw could only hope they're both happy and living a great life among the stars.

Their attention was slowly being dragged back as Gingerstar announced that there was some windclan scent on the border. What was windclan doing there? Or maybe it was only one cat crossing the border by themselves without the windclan leader having anything to do with it. They wouldn't know for sure. Different from the thunderclan scent at the territory though probably. From what it sounds like, there was a lot of thunderclanners there. What was thunderclan doing there? Did they want to attack riverclan? They already took the pond, what more would they want?
Rugged range is now part of the territory. Maybe thunderclan mistook it for just a peice of land? That's possible. But it was nice knowing the range is now part of riverclan either way.

Listening to what Cherryswirl just said...a thought floated it's way into the apprentice's head. Gingerstar only has one life then the clan risked losing another leader early and then if the clan loses another leader early, The next leader probably won't get any lives because starclan doesn't trust them with lives because Gingerstar died too soon, and then it'll be possibly the same pattern again and again for...forever...and none of the riverclan leaders will ever get any lives...what if that happens..? No no no...Sunsetpaw shouldn't be thinking too negatively..but...what if that happens?? Then everyone would think riverclan is weak because our leaders keep dying early and then- okay okay it's fine, it'll be fine! They can't be thinking about these things, nothing bad has happened in Gingerstar's leadership yet. Things will end up just fine

Due to that thought, they nearly missed the fact that Blazekit was found dead. Killed by a rogue. They..they didn't see Blazekit die..nor the rogue..how did they miss that..? Where did Blazekit die? The kit couldn't have died out in the territory or..even if Blazekit was in the territory, he or she or something..Sunsetpaw doesn't really know Blazekit's pronouns at all, so they didn't want to assume anything...wouldn't have died to far off...right? There was a lot of bad news in the meeting..which..is concerning....

At last though, some better news.; Minkkit is becoming Minkpaw, an apprentice! Sunsetpaw wondered who she'll get as a mentor. Hopefully a nice and great mentor. If Minkkit is an apprentice, then she'll move to the apprentice's den and maybe Sunsetpaw could possibly make a new friend, that'll be fun! Sunsetpaw hasn't gotten any new friends lately so a new friend would be nice! Speaking of friends, they haven't talked to Winterpaw in quite some time; wonder how he's doing. Hopefully great.

Nightspark didn't spoke as he listened the meeting, he wasn't moving, but he was preoccupied... Gingerstar didn't receive her nine lives... Like Beansprout did... He didn't knew if it was a bad sign or not, for him it was bad, he looked in the sky, praying silently for no more problems to his clan...


He reported his attention when the battle was mentionned, he couldn't retain a slight look of sadness, in addition of Kestrelskies they had lost a warrior... Damn it... It was disaster after disaster... He shook his head, retrieving a neutral expression, which was hard, but he instantly lost it as apparently both WindClan and ThunderClan had crossed the borders, and that a kit was lost to a rogue, he couldn't hold back and growled "The intruders must be purged, they know they shouldn't get on our territory, and they keep on doing it. They must be killed without mercy. And the bodies of who were killed should be left to the worms and the scavengers. That will show that RiverClan isn't weak like they probably think."


He stopped, realizing that he had let out his anger a bit too loud, he looked down and said "I am sorry Gingerstar. I have let my anger overwhelm me. It won't happen again."

Minkkit... The name of the kit was Minkkit... He kept the information in his mind, before responding "Nightspark. My name is Nightspark...", he looked around a bit before speaking again "How are you Minkkit?"

Minkkit had sat mostly silent next to Nightspark as the meeting went on. Only having piped up once with a small 'Good' when the Lionheart asked after her welfare. Other than that, she didn't speak, just sat in her spot, fluffy tail wrapped around her paws, wondering where Raccoonpelt and Flintkit had gone off to. Had they finally gotten enough of her? Had wanted to be rid of her? Was she too much to take care of?

Swallowing roughly, the little she-kit eased her way up to the front of the crowd when Gingerstar called her over. She'd been born the runt of her litter, small and fragile and breakable. It was ironic that she now sat up here all alone, with none of her siblings or family at her side. Briefly, she tore her gaze from the ginger leader to offer Willowkit a faint, hopeful smile at the other female's encouraging words.

Willowkit sat in the front of the gathered cats with a proud smile, her head up and her eyes filled with excitment and friendship. She smiled brightly as they locked eyes and mouthed. "You got this best friend!"
