Why was she so against his decision? If he made it, he believed in it, and so should she. Stare hardening, she holds his gaze as he joins in on the chanting and allows herself a small smile. She offers him a nod of understanding and takes a seat once more, chocolate hues staring at her paws. Paws excitedly clawing into the dirt. Medicine cat apprentice... Gingerfrost believed in her. Someone believed in her! If it was fate that led her here, led her to this point in time... Who was she to question it? Tansypaw, medicine cat apprentice... What a cool title... It sounded important. It sounded... Good. Like she belonged here. Like she was meant to be here!

And then he continues. Continues on about lives and Starclan and whatnot. She was still so new. So unfamiliar with their ways. She had heard the name 'Starclan' a few times in her moon with the clan but no one had gone out of their way to explain. From what she could tell by his explanation and the murmurs around her, this information wasn't exactly good. Good or not they would prevail. She was sure of it. And she would do her best to make sure of that, at Falconfeather's side!

Speaking up amongst the chatter, the young cat speaks to her leader, eyes full of wonder and determination.

"Heard loud and clear, Gingerstar!" She meows with conviction. "If you are to earn your name then I will do what I can to help you do so! T-Thank you for putting your faith in me!"

Well, this is... Not what he expected. Not at all. Sure, there were some shocked faces but the ginger tabby expected a lot more opposition. From this, it just seemed like they didn't care. Was he supposed to take that as a good sign, or a bad one? (Were they plotting his downfall?) ...Only one way to find out. Wait. The day he'll wake up with claws to his throat is the day he'll know they've been planning his death all along (how fun).

Anyhow, this at least means the difficult part is over without too much trouble. He could move on to more important things than lives and all that. What came next, anyway? Speaking of which, why were some cats already leaving?? Children, all of them, really. Can't even sit through one meeting - must not be used to it anymore. But moving on;

He briefly reminded them.

"With that said; our fight against WindClan. You all did good, no kits were harmed. Keep that up. That said, we didn't finish without our losses Kestrelpaw - Kestrelskies. She lost her life during the fight, but not without earning her warrior name. We've also lost Flamebriar. Both were buried in Sleepy Thicket.

Speaking of WindClan, although subtle, I've recently found WindClan scent across the border. Furthermore, as if taking Cattail Pond wasn't enough, ThunderClan scent - a strong bunch - has also been found across the border, well into our territory. I don't know what they're thinking, so caution is advised on both fronts, especially ThunderClan. And if you see anyone within our territory again, don't hesitate to remind them where the border is."

Gingerfrost - or rather, Gingerstar, now - grimaced a little at the news, not exactly pleased with it. He doubted WindClan as a whole had anything to do - it smelled more like a singular case. But ThunderClan... Seeing their history with RiverClan, who knows what they could be planning.
"With that said, Rugged Range is now part of RiverClan territory."
Their new camp was quite near it, after all.

"In further news, Blazekit was found dead, likely at the paws of a rogue. This may not be the only instance of rogue attacks, so keep your guards up - we don't need any more losses."
That said and done, he briefly waited, looking for any reactions from his clanmates before moving on. He didn't want to spend too much time on this when there were more things to be announced.

"In some better news; Minkkit, step up. It's time for your ceremony."

A lot of news. Some good some bad. Cloudpaw took it all in and then smiled as it ended with an apprentice ceremony

Cherryswirl hadn't really moved at all from her spot - still seeming quite surprised at the fact that StarClan had AGAIN refused to give the leader a full nine lives. So... What herself and Willowwisp had been gossiping about nearly a moon ago at the springs had seemed to be true. StarClan's anger seemed misplaced on the full clan itself. Perhaps... a mistake had been made. The ginger molly lifted a muddled gaze above the crowd of cats, her golden eyes landing - after a few moments of searching - on Willow's familiar pelt. Though, she only glanced for a few seconds, before settling back down to listen to the rest of Gingerfrost's briefing. As some cats had begun shuffling away without the dismissal, Cherryswirl couldn't help but chortle - Geez, the kits she understood, they had the attention spans of a trout... but the warriors? Maybe they had been just as worried as her and needed to go think? Honestly, It was... going to take a little bit to get used to his new 'Star' honorific. As Gingerstar mentioned Minkkit's name - one she had actually been familiar with from the move - Cherry interjected quickly, her gaze appearing almost worried for the first time in a while,

"Ginger..Star-" She started slowly, her voice raised, "What will we do if we end up in another battle with WindClan.... Or even ThunderClan? Certainly, the other leaders have their lives gifted from StarClan. I don't want to see you bleeding out your only life on the battle-field-" She stopped for a moment, biting back a more cruel jab at the Starcats. Guilt rippled across her pelt for even thinking such a thing, "-err.. with an unfair advantage! What can we do to help you..? To make sure StarClan grants you all your lives?" Her voice softened, "We can't lose another leader so soon." Golden eyes searched the faces of her fellow clanmates, urging them to speak up in agreement, with ideas, or anything really. Though her gaze finally settled back onto the perched leader.
