**Elmshadow**

His supplies were growing slim and the last patrols had been disappointing. He narrowed his eyes at the stores before glancing back over his shoulder. The past moon had been a hectic one, with too many deaths and injuries and failed prophecies and searches for knowledge. He needed to do something to get back ahead of everything so he could focus on the other priorities. Especially with war at their paws, the herb stores as they were simply wouldn't cut it.

The dark medicine cat moved out of the herb stores and maneuvered his way past the nests in his den and out into the bright clearing. He blinked away the light blindness then looked over the clan. The activity was already beginning to buzz as he called out, "Everybody interested in participating in a scavenger hunt, gather here. We'll be heading out soon so hurry up." The dark tom sat down and waited, his green eyes scanning out over the cats as they gathered.

How this will work:

In Elmshadow's next post, the event will be moving out to Shadow's Break. If there is a safe kit:queen:warrior ratio then all ranks are welcome to participate. If there are no queens and only a couple warriors then Elmshadow will only permit the warriors and apprentices to come along.

At the beginning of each round Elmshadow will name four place (i.e. Under the bushes, On top of the log, In the sunny patch, Near the creek)
Your OC must choose one of those four places and go to it. In that area there will be one type of herb that will be revealed in Elmshadow's following post so each OC gets to collect one of that herb. The placement of the herbs will be intentional, not random (so sometimes some research of the herbs can help you determine where some herbs may be found hint hint).
Each round, one of the four places will be DQ'd so whoever is in that area will be out of the game, though they will still be able to collect whatever herb was found there. A DQ does not mean an automatic loss! Just a disadvantage. Your OC will still hold onto the points they earned and all points will be calculated at the end of the game for the winner.
Missing a round will not disqualify your character from continuing in future rounds, you just miss out on the potential points. The only cats who will be disqualified are those in the designated DQ spot. *As such, the only way to stop getting mentions (once signed up) is to be disqualified or VM me and request to be DQ'd* After this post, I will only be mentioning RPers who have responded showing an interest in playing, so no need to message me if you do not respond in this thread.

Warriors and apprentices are welcome to join at any point, just hop in and pick a location.
Opening for kit joining closes after Elmshadow's next post as that would mean they'd have to have traveled out in the territory alone.
**Any kits attempting to join after Elmshadow's next post will be subject to punishment for leaving camp alone**
Any kits who wander off or are seen outside of camp beyond this thread will be subject to punishment

Ruekit Blinked... Scavenger hunt? YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
she imediatly darted over, skitting to a stop as she nearly slipped on top of a stray leaf... popping back up and darting the rest of the way, Ruekit Sat as Close up as She Could Get. Scavenger hunting sounded like a ton of fun!!!!

She Smiled brightly also at the hope that this event would be one where she could explore!!!! less clumzily though hopefully. she'd been bored trying to stay in her nest as so not to trip... but that was a lost cause anyway! so why not have some fun!!!!


"What will we be looking for?! will we get to explore?! will we get to find out new stuff?! is this like a class?! Or Just a WAY funner version of a Class?!" Ruekit buzzed while watching some ants... in was tempting to paw at them...

oh... yeah... the Scavenger Hunt

"YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY YYYY" she squealed loudly.... she hoped maybe her siblings would be playing too... she didn't see them quite often enough for her prefered taste
