Beansprout was quite crazy if he thought the clan would randomly vote for him as leader. "It should be left up to Stonepaw now that Gingerfrost denied the role as leader." Duststream said, trying to make his voice heard above the chaos. "Let Starclan guide him and our clan." He added.

It was finally happening.

Everything Beechkit had dreamed of, hoped of sincs the day he could emerge from the nursery. Pikestar had just called his name for an apprentice ceremony. His. But when he heard that Stonepaw may get to decide the Clan's future, he bristled. Stars he hated that cat. And really he had no reason to. It wasn't Stonepaw's fault this was happening, some tiny part of him tried to rationalise, but his emotions got the better of him and he seethed hotly for a moment, glaring daggers at the young tom. He became an apprentice before me. It was partly his fault that my apprentice ceremony has gone like this.

Another thought hit him them. Will anyone even remember this meeting for my apprenticeship, when it was the meeting Pikestar stepped down? He directed another, more subtle stare at Pikestar and the other High Ranks as he stepped up to the spot under the Streamstone that the little gathering of cats had left. It didn't matter now. All that mattered was the he was gonna be an apprentice, and one step closer to his dream.

Blue smiled and dipped her head back at SwirlSplash. They heard there ceremont being preformed and their heart soared. They were being apprenticed along with Beechkit! Amazing! Blue bounded up next to Beechkit. "I'm excited!" She whispered to him.

“Hold on!” A worried mew escaped her jaws. A spike of rage filled her core as BeanSprout ran his mouth, “You? LEADER?” PebbleSplash laughs… “Over my dead body!” Flattening her ears, her tail lashed. “It’s sickening that your using this tragedy to promote yourself!” She didn’t want to yell anymore and quite frankly, was getting sick of this… PebbleSplash knew that the mouse she ate earlier was making’s it’s way to her throat… She swallowed back the feeling…

It wasn’t until her name was called that the feeling had returned… left side for PebbleSplash… “Okay, OKAY! Thank you for the nomination but I cannot be a leader. I haven’t even fully trained an apprentice yet! We should be leaving this to Stonepaw AFTER the meeting…!” She called , still facing her clanmates from in front of the Streamstone… Why were they still going on about this?

That’s when she heard a stressed out cry which really opened her eyes… This was really upsetting her clanmates and she needed to do something…! “You heard it from Silversnow! She doesn’t want you to use her sister as an excuse. We should be listening to eachother rather then picking sides right now…! With all due respect to all of you, if we can’t have a normal meeting, what good are we? All of us are acting like ROUGES!” She gave a glare at those speaking out.

“I may not be a high rank but I ORDER everyone to quiet down! Let PikeStar have his last meeting in peace, let the apprentices and kits move into their new ranks! This is what our fallen clan mates would have wanted!” Tears streamed down her face, but she managed to speak clearly… PebbleSplash was going to need a therapy session with StonePaw later…

Brightnight heard the fellow molly shouting about the dead. Her father would have wanted peace. "The cats that we lost with the dogs would have been proud of Pikestar! We are those fallen warrior's kits, mothers, fathers, mates, and most importantly friends! I lost my father to those damn dogs I know for a god damn fact that he wouldn't want this! I'm not trying to make this about me or my father but Pebblesplash is right!" she yowled, letting her voice ring around the clearing.

Letting her bright hues gaze around her foolish clanmates the young queen yowled. "Let Pikestar finish! We shouldn't start trying to replace him as soon as the words "stepping down' come out of his mouth! What the hell is wrong with you all!? Yes we need a leader but until those apprentices and kits are done he is still our leader and he has all the knowledge, he shares tongues with Starclan, even his his last may be soon he still has. " she yowled. Her eyes blazing with fury as words of fury at the disrespect of her dear leader was meowed across the clearing. How dare they!

Swirlsplash shouted. "Lilycreek! I need you to calm her down!" She meowed. "Let Pikestar finish! Your dumb opinions are hurting your clanmates!" she snarled out loud to the warriors and other bickering. The senior warrior stretched her long and sharp claws in the soft Riverclan soil. "Enough everyone. I'm not playing around, i've mentored many cats in this clan I know how some of you act, this isn't the time for your antics, your warriors so act like it." she growled. Nudging her daughters brown flank towards Lilycreek.

"EVERYONE QUIET!" The raspy voice of the elder, Cloudpelt filled the area. "Why are we fighting like dogs over a piece of meat?" She started off, making her point. "The deputy has always become a leader after the former leader, only if the leader says not. Why is this even something worth arguing over?!" She yowled, glaring a stern glance at Beansprout. "Im not even sure Stonepaw is fully trained! This is Pikestar's decision and no cat has any word
over it!" She fully turned to Beansprout. " It's a shame your using this situation to your advantage. One that SHOULD NOT EVEN BE HAPPENING!" She faced the clan with anger in her eyes. "I cannot get a single wink of sleep without all you KIT-WARRIOR'S MAKING A FUSS!" She took a breath. And looking for any other cat's who would challenge the rules of Starclan.

She silently agrees with the elder as well. She looks around the Clan, shaking her head. Closing her eyes, she knows that she would not be able to speak out, but what Pondheart does know is that she will agree with whoever StarClan allows to be leader.
