Lightpaw mews "fallownose sir. i was chasing a rabbit threw the tunnels to catch it and got it. and more." she points to behind her but had dirt on her pelt. "I am sorry for getting lost in the tunnels." it had been the first time she had ever went into the tunnels and looked at him and then placed her head down.
Fallownose let out a soft sigh at Lightpaw's response to where she had gone. Why was it that apprentices thought it was okay to wander off alone after being explicitly told not to? "Hopefully getting lost is enough punishment for you to realize that we have the rule that apprentices can't go out without a warrior for a reason. Don't do it again, Lightpaw."
"Fallownose?" A smile spread across his face, despite his attempt to seem mature. He was back and here was Fallownose, and if he was here it meant that maybe everyone else was okay and nothing bad had happened to anyone else. He sprinted over to the other tom, his fur rippling over his poking bones as he ran towards him. He was alive, that was one good thing out of five. That was great, and even though he had never truly spoken to the deputy before, he was so, so glad to have him standing before him. "You're alive!" The words barely escaped before he attempted to tackle the older cat in a hug.
It was different then when he had first showed up, he had been able to manage the feelings then. It was the sudden regret of leaving and relief at returning home pulling at his heart, causing him to react. He shouldn't care this much about Fallownose. He shouldn't care, but he did. And the smile wasn't wiping off his face. "I'm so, so sorry. I didn't mean to leave mama or leech or lion behind." Stars, he hoped they were still alive. He prayed that the stars hadn't claimed another life of those he cared about. He prayed that they weren't that cruel.
"We was out on a patrol, right, and then we came across these cats trapped in twoleg caves. They were calling for our help, so we went to get them. I got one out, but it was too late, and the twolegs grabbed us." He couldn't help but shiver at the memory of the twolegs hairless grabby grippers as they stuffed him in the dark void. The smile was erasing itself, the memories taking over. "I woke up in a box in a place surrounded by other cats in boxes. It was too bright and too loud and twolegs kept trying to grab me." Another shudder as he remembered the tapping of small twoleg paws as they slammed on the divider between him and them. "I got out after way too long in there, then." He paused, this wasn't too embarrassing to share, right?
"Um, I was lost, in Twolegplace." Twolegplace was big alright, it wasn't his fault he couldn't find the moors. And then the cats were not all nice. Ick. His flank stung from the many half healed scrapes across his fur. But hey, at least he knew how to run now. And he certainly wasn't out of shape, despite the fact that he hadn't been eating as much as before. He was used to it now. "And then we finally got back. Finally." He breathed a small sigh of relief, shaking off to try and forget everything. Which brought back another worry. "Is Mama okay? Are Leech and Lion doing alright?" He's ears pricked with apprehension.
Fallownose let himself react as Beastpaw confirmed it was him before the apprentice charged and proceeded to tackle him a hug. He let out a surprised grunt that devolved into a welcoming purr as he curled his tail around to wrap around Beastpaw. "That's a long story, Beastpaw, but I'm glad you made it back. Who were you on patrol with?"
The deputy needed to know who thought it was a good idea to try and rescue outsiders and put their Clanmates at risk. The other questions he quickly answered, not wanting Beastpaw to worry for his family. "Twilightstar is fine. Your siblings have gotten their warrior names and are known as Leechscar and Dreamlight."

Uh oh...
The sun was beginning to set, fading gray-blues into oranges and reds. He went out at... what, sunhigh? Time really flew while he was out of camp. Which wasn't a good thing, he had to remind himself. Bumblekit wasn't fond of getting in trouble as was any other kit, but there was no way he could avoid it now.
He groaned to himself. "Ugh... I'd just rather stay out here..."
The kit trodded back to camp despairingly, on-edge hair sharp as a porcupine's with the idea of getting scolded. He would probably cry and get super embarrassed.
Upon bumping into Fallownose, he blurted out, "A- um! I was out e-exploring! I'mreallysorryIhopeyoucanforgiveme!"
Fallownose had been grooming himself when he felt a kit bump into him. He turned to see who it was, but they were already apologizing for exploring. Ah, it's Bumblekit. That makes sense since they've been missing.
"Bumblekit, you know you're not allowed of camp. Did the Kit Corrals not offer enough entertainment for you?"

Cowpaw smiled, watching the kits arrive. His gaze flickered to .. he smiled, Littlekit. No kit had gleaming orange eyes like her. "Little one.. you already took a class with me.. remember..? You can still stay if you wish... though, no worries, " He smiled, ears perking up at the sound of tiny pawsteps approaching.
The medicine cat looked to well, someone with such a bitter stare. What a little ball of fury they appeared to be. ... Sometimes cats just,, uhm, appeared that way. He tilted his head at the announcement - the declaration that oh! Flutteringkit! This was Flutteringkit! Her voice, hehe, had been a tell-tale sign. "Pleasure to have you then, " Cowpaw mewed and let that be that.
"Let us... run over what we should avoid eating, hm? I know.. not the most interesting, or maybe I am a little bit.. biased at that part but, once we get this out of the way, we can move onto cobwebs and poppy seeds. " Nodding his head, he straightened his posture and dived into a long-winded explanation.
"Naturally, if something is an inaudible object - please do not eat .. rather it be rocks... or something shiny .. it .. is very not nice to have to ahem, vomit them up.. along with that, do not eat plants if you do not know .. what they do.. as they may be poisonous ... if you are going to eat an herb.. always ask me to ensure they are safe .. specific bugs may be very bad for you to eat ..! Like some types of spiders - best to avoid them all, really, bees.. caterpillas, and gosh, do not eat fireflies..! Very shiny, very bad for you..!" Cowpaw babbled on, some were common knowledge while some could be a rarity.
"Now.. this isn't entirely just involves eating it, but involves touching it also... It is called poison ivy .. it has three leves, one on each sides.. and one in the center... very shiny and smooth... notched edges.. when it comes in contact with you.. you will get a rash and have to experience intense itching... very non-pleasant... " He shuddered at the thought of contacting that! No thank you!
"Finally.. this one I have only heard of... which loops back to why.. you should not eat plants if you do not know what they do... A type of berry we call deathberries.. are extremely toxic.. and will lead to your death within minutes... and if you do eat these, I do not.. currently know how to treat its poison so please.. be careful.."

It wasn't every day that Flutteringkit was taught new things. She supposed today was an exception... THAT DIDN'T MEAN SHE HAD TO LIKE IT THOUGH! The young, brindled she-kit sat in a corner, pointedly ignoring Cowpaw's words. Or, at least, she tried to ignore what the WindClan medicine cat was saying, though her ears swiveled at every little thing, picking up all that he'd said. 'Stupid, interesting herbs.' Fine, perhaps it was a little vile, that Flutteringkit found interest in these dumb little plants that could kill stuff. Because, DUH, why wouldn't you want to kill stuff??? However, despite the fact that Flutteringkit could tolerate (nuh uh, she definitely didn't like herbs. herbs were for losers) plants, her lip did curl with disgust as Snowkit began talking. EW. SHE WAS BLIND? With a huff, the brindled she-kit scooted even more away from the group, shooting an irritated look in Snowkit's direction.
CreekKit waddled around the clearing, her tiny and stumpy paws hitting the ground as she playfully chased a feather that had been moving from gusts of wind, One of her Feathers of course. The young kit giggled as she jumped and attempted to catch the feather.
Brightdawn stepped over to the energetic kit. "Hi there!" she called. "Is your name CreekKit?" The warrior sat down somewhat near her.
Creek'Kit turned to face the tall warrior, her green eyes shining in the moonlight
"Yes! Yes! Im Creek'Kit!" She purred, running around in a tiny circle
"A friend of yours suggested I come and give you a visit" Brightdawn purred. "He said that you're interested in birds?" She smiled at Creek'Kit's energy. @Pluto!
"Yes! Have you ever seen a dove? They are so pretty! I also like woodpeckers and cardinals and mockingbirds and ravens..." She trailed off naming off different birds
When Creek'Kit was finished, Brightdawn answered her first question. "Not only have I seen a dove, I've befriended a dove!" she mewed proudly. "I've been searching for the more rare birds, like cockatiels, owls, swans, and parrots!" @Pluto!
"Ive seen a owl once! Right here in the moor! My sister took me out to the moor, with permission!, And we were star-gazing, I saw a owl perched on a fallen log!" She purred, Tackling her feather that had been blowing around
"That's really cool! Personally, I've never seen an owl!" Brightdawn praised, crouching down playfully. She blew at the feather, causing it to fly just above Creek'Kit. @Pluto!
"Ah! My feather!" She said, leaping onto it from mid-air
"I got one of its feathers! You can have it! Cmon!" She padded into the nursery, grabbing her owl's feather and putting her previous one back. "Here!" She said as she padded back outside, the feather placed on the ground
