Berrypaw
Post Count: 83/100
Padding onto the familiar scrap of territory that marked the border between ShadowClan and WindCland, Berrypaw smiled quietly to herself. Well, she had at least one memory from this place, and that included being reprimanded quite harshly by Batglare. Glancing over her shoulder for Willowgaze, the spotted molly paused, steps slowing. "We're hunting here?" She asked softly.

“It’ll be a challenge but yup!” She mews softly. Willow gaze immediately spotted a small mouse and pounced on it. “At least it’s quiet here,” she added.

Re: Whispering Wetlands
Flamecall stood at the border between WindClan and ShadowClan, their whiskers twitching as they stared out at the territory beyond the scent markers, eyes slightly vacant.
They didn’t intend to cross, no, that would cause unnecessary drama. Bunnystar might complain. Instead, they continued to stare, their mind empty of thoughts, as the wind gently buffeted their fluffy pelt.
They half hoped that a bunny might cross the border, giving Flamecall a chance to kill them and bring Dawnstar a nice new bunny pelt, but they knew the chances were slim, as BunnyClan usually kept to their own side.
A spark of anger sputtered beneath Flamecall’s pelt as they thought of how small ShadowClan was compared to WindClan currently. They seemed to lose another cat every day. Flamecall knew that exiling cats who didn’t do their duties was one of the only ways to get things done in ShadowClan anymore, but with Leafbare coming, it wasn’t good that Dawnstar was pruning ShadowClan of their hunters.
Still, Flamecall trusted their leader’s judgement, perhaps Dawnstar was playing the long game. Perhaps she was banishing disloyal cats under the guise of incomplete patrols. Perhaps, perhaps, Flamecall could go on and on. Whatever the reason, Flamecall hoped Dawnstar knew what she was doing.
Flamecall’s thoughts wandered to WindClan again, and they wondered how Twilightstar did it. She was old, and blind in one eye, yet her clan hadn’t thrown her paws out from beneath her. Flamecall wouldn’t have been surprised if one of her own cats offed her sometime soon, actually. But, no, WindClan continued to grow, and ShadowClan continued to shrink. It was a weird time.
Perhaps Flamecall would approach Dawnstar on the topic.
Ha! Yeah, right! If they had a death wish! Flamecall wasn’t blind to the ShadowClan leader’s attraction to pelts and her fondness for decorating her den with them, and Flamecall has been cursed with a pretty pelt.
Flamecall’s thoughts settled again, and they remained sitting by the border, the divide between two clans who couldn’t be more different.

SagePaw was taking a look around the borders when suddenly he saw a cat In the distance. "Hey who's there!?! " He yelled to the other cat, seeing if they were friend or foe.

Cloudyrain padded simply to the border, blinking at the sky lazily. What was going on up there? Was it really just a bunch of stary cats dead cats? It sniffed at the thought of that. Why would dead cats watch over the living anyway? Shaking its head, it looked back out and saw another cat near the border. Shadowclan. Picking up speed Cloudyrain paused right in front of the other cat. Instead of saying anything tho, the cat simply just... stared.

Re: Whispering Wetlands
Flamecall turned as the yell split the silence, their eyelids drooping with a clearly unimpressed expression on their face as they saw that the one who had yelled at them was nothing but a fuzzball. An apprentice.
“I’m a clanmate,” They meowed evenly, biting back the urge to call the kid a bee brain, “And what are you doing out here on your own? We may call WindClanners bunnies, but they’ve killed some of our own before.”
This cat was… Sedgepaw? Softpaw? Ah, no, this furball was called Sagepaw. Right.
“Before you say anything, I’m a fully trained ShadowClan Warrior, I can fight off a bunny looking for a fight. You, however, are a small child whose voice is so shrill that it could scare the birds out of the trees,” They said quickly, before the apprentice could make some remark about how Flamecall was out on their own, “How old are you, anyway? Four?” Flamecall teased, raising an eyebrow as they waited for a response.

Flamecall blinked at the WindClanner, their eyes roving over them, assessing them.
“Draw a picture in the dirt, it lasts longer,” They said after a moment of the other cat looking at them like they were an odd sort of creature that had just been discovered.
The cat in front of Flamecall didn’t seem too impressive, they wagered that they could take this one in a fight any day, but if this cat wanted a fight, the WindClanner would have to instigate it, because the last thing ShadowClan needed right now was Bunnystar declaring war and raiding the camp again.

"I-I URGHH" He was now just embarrassed. "I didn't know I'm sorry about that. Your Flamecall right? " He stepped closer to the warrior, his leaf green eyes looked at the warrior with eye contact. "I was out here to either do hunting or just explore the territory. Why ware you out here?" He asked curiously as he heard the next question.
"6 moons, 6 not 4." He was slightly annoyed by this warrior.

Re: Whispering Wetlands
Cloudyrain snorted at the remark. "How so? If it rain's it'll be gone." It meowed, pointing to the dirt. "Or a animal could ruin it. Unless you die, your face will last much longer." They blinked, tilting their head. Was this cat dumb? Or just joking about the whole dirt thing? You'd think a pretty cat would have some braincells. Even if they were from poor Shadowclan. It frowned thinking about that clan, they were quite sad for a clan.

Berrypaw said nothing, merely nodded at Willowgaze's response. She stalked forward on quiet haunches, pouncing a swiftly killing a mouse that'd run when it heard Willowgaze's vibrations against the floor.

“Nothing is really too great here, is it?” She sighed. “Everything is super small… hm…” willow gaze thought to herself… “would you like to try somewhere else?”
