The run-down soft-play gym
Completely not based off a real place I live near
A run-down play area, still full of wood chippings and foam from the soft-play area. Mallow makes his home here, it is a short walk from a bridge, with a train-track running across. The bridge is a dangerous place to stand but it gives a view of most of the twolegplace. The play area is a wooden building still covered in eerie posters and paintings, there is a giant wooden beam fallen from the roof, leading to the roof and loft-area where most passing cats are welcome to sleep.
Feel free to just straight up just stroll in like you own the place, to Mallow's annoyance.

Re: The run-down soft-play gym
Mallow stretched and pricked his ears, he was full from last-night where he had caught a pigeon by the train-tracks. He squeezed through a hole in the wooden wall and through the fencing of the hill, climbing up and over the railings staring over twolegplace, spotting a few approaching cats. I wonder if they'll stop by? He ran down the hill and sat round front of the fallen-apart building.

Re: The run-down soft-play gym
Shadow
Shadow loped through the sparse vegetation that surrounded the train tracks, stopping on a small hill, surveying the landscape. Once again, she was on the look for a new home. From her vantage point she could see a strange placement of fencing and metal sticks. Narrowing her eyes, she wondered whether she should make her way over and explore. Who knew? There might be a place where she could make a new den, though this place didn’t seem like it had a good amount of cover.
Hesitating for a few seconds, the small black she-cat began to make her way to the run down structure. It wasn’t until she was on the edge of the wood chipped area that she realized there was another cat in the area, looking up, she could see a Tom sitting nearby. Her ears went back and she took a couple steps backwards. “Is this your territory?”

Re: The run-down soft-play gym
Mallow turned to the new she-cat, "Yes, you can stay for the night if you want, there's enough prey by the train-tracks up there to share," He gestured with his tail to the upside of the hill, "and I would be happy to help any passers by. This isn't the most cat-friendly place, but you already know that."

Shadow
Shadow watched the Tom warily, unsure of how to react to his hospitality. “Um, well I was just checking this place out, Im trying to find a new den . . .” She explained, hesitantly. “Thanks, I guess?” Shadow didn’t interact with other cats except to chase them off her territory, or to be chased off someone’s else’s. She glanced around the area, then flicked her tail, wondering whether she wanted to risk hunting on someone’s territory. “You . . . Really wouldn’t mind if I hunted here?”

"Nope." he knew her suspicion wasn't unfounded and that it was unusual for cats to invite others so leniently. I could've phrased it better- he thought. "I don't need it all and a lot are deterred by the Trains, or long-monsters- whatever you call them."

Shadow
Shadow nodded uncertainly. She wasn’t sure whether she wanted to take him up on his offer, in case there was a catch or something, but she did need food. “Alright.” She says, reluctantly. Shadow jumped up on one of the metal poles so she could have a better view of the surrounding area. “Not many places to hunt.” She remarked dryly.

"Yeah, the prey doesn't always run well around here, it's better on the tracks but it's risky." He looked up the hill at the Train-Tracks behind the chain-link fence. "It's quite cramped in the building, the roof caved in in that corner a moon or two ago."
