(P) Shallow gray steps of a tail

Shallowstep hovered around camp, his thoughts gently gliding across his mind as he sat, his tail wrapped neatly around his paws.
He was feeling a bit hungry, but he pushed that away. Right now, he didn't feel like eating.
He was bored, like always. He never socialized, and always kept to himself, so his boredom was his own fault, and he knew it.
He was craving a good hunt by the waters, but he didn't feel like going out by himself.
He fantasized about being in Starclan, then realized he wouldn't be any happier there because of his crappy parents, so he then thought about the Dark Forest.
Which wasn't a good idea.
Shaking his head from the dark thoughts, he gave a quick scan around camp, wondering if anyone felt the same as him.

Graytail was looking around the clearing. She had been so sad since she came back to her former mate, Riverpad, missing, it had been moons Kestrelstar said. She had moved on, she still loved him, but, there was a great chance of Riverpad being in starclan. Her eyes darted around, then her eyes locked with Shallowstep's. She padded over to the tom and mewed in a slightly shaking with sadness voice, "Want to go hunting?"

Shallowstep nodded quickly, as he heard the quavers in the she-cats voice, he wondered what was wrong, but didn't dare to ask. He'd maddened enough cats for the day, and wasn't going to bug someone he had just met.
"Uhm, where you wanna go?" He wasn't sure where the she-cat preferred to hunt, so he thought, why not ask?

Seeing her eyes getting irritated, he was about to ask if she had allergies, when he realized that she was crying. Or, was about to anyway.
"Uhm, you alright?" He asked worriedly, hoping she wouldn't snap at him for getting all up in her business.
Did I do something? But we just met!
Billions, and I mean billions of different possibilities stormed his mind, as he thought of what he could have done, not thinking that this would be a completely different matter, unrelated to him.
