Briarsplash may not have been the most... charismatic of cats. Nor did she care to talk to many. But if anything, she cared about her Clan — the one that'd taken her in when she was at her lowest and given her a chance. And made her strong; teaching her how to fight, how to survive. And for that, she'd do what she could to give back.

So, even if that included teaching tree-climbing to a bunch of apprentices and warriors, she'd do it. For the sake of the Clan, at least. After speaking with Owlthroat, another fellow Enforcer, the two had come to the conclusion that they could do with another training event to help the apprentices knock something out and spread the knowledge. Besides, it was leaf-bare, meaning many of the trees (except for the pines) would be barren, perhaps easier to climb in a way. At least, they'd be less distracting when not covered in leaves and chirping birds. As long as they stayed away from where the Enforcers had spied the owls, this should go over smoothly (she hoped).

Giving a look around, Briarsplash padded to the center of the clearing with Owlthroat, narrowing her eyes. It looked like enough cats were currently in camp... now's as good a time as any to do it. Clearing her throat, the she-cat tipped back her head to let out a yowl, one that demanded attention. She didn't usually raise her raspy voice, but today was one of those exceptions. "ShadowClan!"

The stocky she-cat stood tall as eyes turned to her, the ever-uninviting scowl on her maw. She didn't enjoy so many eyes on her despite being the one to call, but she also wasn't afraid to stand in the face of it. Not like it was hostile, anyway; it almost felt good, in a way, to have cats listening to her. Briar shoved that idea down for now and focused on mission.

"Owlthroat and I will be taking a group of whoever's interested to learn tree-climbing. If you were here for the rat and snake fight, you know how valuable that particular skill can be, especially for combat or escape. This is mainly for apprentices 'n whoever else wants to learn — no kits," she added with a sharp glare in the direction of the nursery, not doubting some curious kit or two would be poking their head out and trying to join. "'Paws, this'll count towards your warrior training. If any other warriors who already know how to climb wanna join anyway, we can use ya either as a backup teacher or... I dunno. Just show 'em how it's done, I guess."

With that she sat back on her haunches, curling her plumed tail around her paws, and waiting for those eager to learn to arrive... hopefully. Otherwise, she'd look like a fool. And Briarsplash didn't like looking like a fool.

Hello!! @/Daragca and I will be hosting this event. As stated, this is a tree-climbing event meant to teach apprentices and warriors how to scale the trees and can count towards warrior training. Anyone who doesn't know is welcome to join! If your cat does know how to climb already but either wants the practice or might wanna help out, please specify in your post. Owlthroat and Briarsplash will still be the leads, but we might divvy up groups differently/utilize your cat's skills or make them show an example depending on how many show up.

I will likely will be posting in the afternoon, EST on that day. If you want your cat in the event, make a post of them showing up before then! no need to tag @/Daragca or I in your initial post, as we will be reading each one.

The large enforcer trotted up. Climbing training eh? He could use a refresher. Sitting down beside his fellow elite, he would dip his head. "I can help out. I need a climbing refresher myself, honestly." He would rumble, a hint of humor in his tone.

It was like Tinywolf appeared out of thin air. She stood next to the apprentices looking to learn how to climb. To be honest, she didn't know how to climb herself. Any other cat may be embarrassed to ask to train with the young cats. But that's not her. Maybe seeing a warrior learn to climb a tree for the first time will give them some encouragement!

"I'd like to learn how to climb trees." She meowed to the enforcer. What Tinywolf really needs is her apprentice Cricketpaw to be here. If only he was as eager to train as he was to come at her with witty remarks. Her head twisted around, looking for the little furball.
