Birchblizzard padded into camp, it'd been a while since she'd been in camp. She'd been really stressed after the drama she'd caused between Mossy and her sister. He'd never meant for any of this to happen and she was terrified someone was going to get seriously hurt.

Birch's tired pale yellow gaze slowly swept over the camp, finally landing on the cat she was searching for, her Mossyfox. She shot forward with the last of her energy embracing the smaller warrior.

"Oh Moss- I missed you so bad... I'm sorry I was gone I just..." She paused, looking down to her paws. Guilt clawed in her chest, should he really admit he was deciding on whether or not she was going to stay in the clan. She shook her head and sighed "I was out on a walk and got lost- I'm so glad i'm home with you now" She murmured softly, still pressed close to Mossy.

A terrified and relieved gasp escaped Mossy's maw. ``B-birchblizzard! I thought you were gone. I was so worried! I missed you so so much.`` She pushed herself into the comforting pelt that she had so dearly missed. Finally, after a few moments she pulled back, listening to her love speak. She frowned, browns turned downwards as the ginger tabby launched herself onto the other warrior. ``Don't ever leave me again, you big fur-ball!`` She meowed, half-joking, through a face full of Birch's fluff.

Mossy waited a few moment, breathing in his scent before she pulled away from her. ``I-I have so much to tell you..`` There was worry deep in the she-cats green eyes, so much had happened that she hadn't been able to share.

Birchblizzard purred softly before taking a step back and tilting her head. What could Mossy have to say? Did... something happen while she was gone? It'd only been half a moon- right? The rosette tabby warrior furrowed her brows.

She suddenly felt like the world was hanging by a thread, ready to shatter any second. What if this was like the last cat he like... the cat who just... vanished... oh stars. A sick feeling settled in her stomach, she was no better than his ex. Stars, what an idiot. Birchblizzard took a deep shaky breath forcing her gaze to stay locked on Mossy's, she probably looked crazy or intimidating or both.

Mossyfox looked down. ``W-well, technically I've known for a little while.. I just needed some more time to tell you. But.. Birch.. I'm pregnant.`` The she-cat pushed the words out, worried to hear what Birchblizzard had to say. Truly, she'd be shocked if Birch wasn't happy, but you never know.

She thought back to when she told Beetlewillow about.. expecting. It didn't really go as planned.. but did she need to tell Birch that? She didnt want him to worry or hate Beetle. Plus she seemed to be worrying a bit already, telling her about the run-in with Beetle would be a lot to take in, right? She thought.

'i'm pregnant' Her jaw dropped as he looked on at her. Birchblizzard took a deep breath furrowing her brows. This... this is all she's ever wanted. A family, one she could actually call his own. Stars....

"oh Vixen-" Birch paused, brows still furrowed. She'd been considering something for a while but this unexpected news made her feel to reconsider her timing. The Windclan warrior rushed forward "Stars Vixen I'm so happy-" Birchblizzard was so very overwhelmed with emotions.

She took a deep breath before opening her mouth to speak, then shutting it. He repeated this a few times before finally speaking "Vix, I love you- and I... I have I think since the day we met. It was always so easy with you- You fixed the part of me that was broken and I can't begin to thank you enough for that-"

Birchblizzard could hear her heartbeat echoing in her ears, she wondered if Mossyfox could hear it too "Will... Will you be my mate?" Birch finally managed to get the words out. She kneaded nervously at the mud below her paws as she waited for a response.

Mossy's eyes teared a bit, of course she didn't think Birchblizzard was going to react negatively but it meant so much to see him so happy. She wanted to have a beautiful family with her and that dream would finally come true.

Her head tilted slightly as she waited for Birch to spit out whatever they were thinking. Her expression softened from confusion to love when the gray tabby started speaking. 'Will you be my mate?' The question echoed in her brain as she stared off, this- this was all she'd ever wanted.

Mossyfox launched herself onto Birchblizzard, eyes watery. ``Yes! Yes, of course!`` She snuggled into her new mate, probably wiping tears on her, but he was happy and that made Moss happy.

Birchblizzard let out a gentle 'oof' as he new mate collided with her, but being the massive cat she was it didn't do much. He purred as she tightened their embrace, taking in the feeling of Mossy's fur against her own... her scent... Birch wanted every single piece of this moment etched in her brain.

The silver rosette tabby breathed slowly, relaxing against Mossyfox "I've... wanted to ask you for a while-" She murmured, glancing down past Mossy "I... I didn't want to scare you away though. After that fight with your sister though..." Birchblizzard frowned and let out a soft sigh "I realized that... I had to act, or risk losing the chance to" He murmured, wrapping his tail around Mossy and herself.

``Let's notconcern ourselves with whatever Beetle is doing..`` Mossyfox replied, her voice hushed. ``She is.. troubled.`` The tabby added, looking up at her new mate with concern in her glossy eyes. Of course she was worried, but she knew deep down her unease would do nothing to help her sistuation.

Beetlewillow had made up her mind, she had chosen the darker path and Moss just had to accept it. ``She has... made her position very clear..`` The she-cat whispered, a bit choked up. She never thought that her sister would have ill-intentions, especially not towards her, but she had been proven wrong and now she would just have to cope.
