He hasn’t been doing…much lately. Sure, some hobby hunting here and there, checking around camp…he was nearing a decent recovery, his side still lacked any fur from the horrid scrap, a scar across his back…but he was better, he was feeling more strength fill himself. He was still decently young and able-bodied, he had no excuse for said laziness. He stretched and strolled from the den, looking around the camp…still he had yet to get used to it. He spotted a familiar pelt…one he saw as a somewhat familiar, kind face. He hesitate…he wished to seek out WisteriaWren, but she had a life outside of simply speaking with him! Goodness, why was he compelled to be close to her? Anyways—“SeaBreeze! ‘Ey there…how are ya doin’?” he questioned, hoping to check on the cat, especially after his stepping down.

Seabreeze's ears perked up at the call of his name, was that Rowanmane? What did the lionheart need? Hopefully no emergencies, he was retired after all. Though when it really comes down to it, Seabreeze doesn't mind helping when he can actually get himself to do so, so he sat up with a yawn and a stretch. Seabreeze offered the older tom an easy smile, "Doing as good as one can be, how're you? Liking the new role?" Though in his opinion, it was being a glorified warrior, you were more of an errand boy for the clan than anything too special. Not that there's anything wrong with that, he just feels like certain felines have a habit of glorifying it beyond belief.

It was good that he was doing alright (as SeaBreeze shared at least). He hadn’t been seeing the tom around as much as he used to lately and it was making RowanMane a bit nervous, but talking to him was a nice change in environments. He had felt lazy since his injuries and he despised such feelings. His ear flicked in acknowledgment for the warrior speaking and—ah, that was his cue to speak! “I’m…fine. I’s not much differen’ than a warrior, simply more responsibility which I’m fine with. I’ll give this clan anythin’ it needs.” he kept out the whole sob story of how the promotion made him feel actually wanted and of use and not some throwaway hold-back. No cat wanted to hear that from him probably. And he would keep out…y’know…some improvements as well. “Ya’ gettin’ to relax more?”

Seabreeze couldn't help the small laugh that made it past his muzzle, he raised a paw to muffle the sound before looking over to Rowanmane. "I suppose 'getting to relax' more is a way to put it." Because he hasn't changed his daily routine too much besides like, taking walks more and trying to find little things to keep him going like Pebblesplash talked to him about. He still finds himself doing just about everything. Dealing with hawks, helping Lionhearts, hunting, patrolling, helping Cobwebfern and Berryshine... The only difference is that he didn't have a fancy title anymore which was more than fine with him.

"Though I see what you mean, pretty much the same as being a warrior just with more errand boy duties and a fancy name right. But it feels nice, being seen for work. At least that's what I thought of it at first, then you know..." He left the trail off vague before turning to Rowanmane again and flicking one of his paws up to motion to his own jaw, "I was wondering, you sound a lot better, but is your jaw feeling better?" The claw marks along Seabreeze's tummy from the raid still pulled, but that was mostly because colder weather + scarring = annoyance, always.

Ah, clearly he was mistaken in the cat having it easier…well…he supposed not much had changed. Some more responsibility here and there probably but…nothing drastic. He perked his ears as the warrior spoke more. Errand boy…that was a pretty accurate description if he was seeing honest with himself. Simply somewhere to throw jobs and responsibilities which…again, he liked work and responsibility. He’d throw about anything away for his clan, risk anything…well, not quite anything anymore. But his loyalties weren’t split outside of anything but the clan. “‘spose yer’ right…” he acknowledged.

Ah- his jaw…his jaw! The damned thing that he still wanted to skin a ThunderClanner for. “It’s…well I’ve gotten a bi’ better at talkin’ n’ all…it hurts less.” he explained to Seab. “It was a while ago tha’ it was infected…haven’ had a problem wit’ it since.” the Lionheart shrugged. “How ‘bout yer injuries?”

"Ah, sorry I didn't mean to demean you or the other lionhearts... I just.. I'm- I should've worded that better." Seabreeze looked away from Rowanmane, he probably shouldn't have called the Lionhearts as errand boys, it was likely his own pessimistic thoughts bleeding into bias. "I just feel like a lot of the stuff Lionhearts are doing should be more normalized as standard warrior tasks anyways, like being helpful and active, going out of your way to help with hunting and collecting herbs and bedding and... yeah." Seabreeze awkwardly explained, though his voice was quieter. That wasn't much clearer about what he was trying to say, was it?

"It's all scarred over and well now." Seabreeze continues without looking in Rowanmane's direction, nervous that he messed up with their lionheart discussion. His tail flicked behind him, one of many signs that he was anxious.
