Being a Lionheart was.. weird to think about, to say the least. But it was something. Which meant stuff must be done. Recently she and two of the other new lionhearts, Brokenstream and Caveclaw, had come up with a Training idea for apprentices and had dome to the agreement of Goldfish announcing it. She hadn't ever been the best at events but it was something that would need to be completed. A task. Rest assured however The Ace of Spades had talked it over plenty on how they wanted it to work so she wasn't too worried. Besides, she would have two others to help her. "Apprentices! Since there's not too much water to fish, Caveclaw, Brokenstream and I are hosting an event.. a competition! A competition to see who can hunt the most prey. There will be three teams; Team Red, Team Blue, and Team Yellow. Whichever feam catches the most prey is the winner! This will count for your warrior Training." She called out from the center of the clearing, tail flicking to and fro. The scarred tortoiseshell paused a moment before continuing. "You'll be assigned to one of the three teams, and said lionheart will teach you land hunting. Then the competition will begin, and each group will go out into the territory to hunt. You'll have until sundown to complete the hunt, then we'll count up the prey." She finished, feeling slightly breathless. Goldfish then sat down with her ears pricked, Awaiting the arrival of apprentices.

How This Will Work

-> This event is for apprentices ONLY.

-> During the teaching part, limit your apprentice to making 1 to 2 posts of learning so that this section doesn't take super long.

-> Jelly, Idiotic Bean, and I will sort your apprentice into groups to do mass group training!

-> In the competition section, refrain from having your apprentice wander off as this may result in ic punishment!

-> in 2 days from this post the next post will be issued organizing groups.

-> During the competition, the hunt will last around 3 days and will use d20 dice rolls or coin flips to determine what prey is caught! Even numbers/heads will mean the catch was a success.

-> Apprentices with the collector purrk can carry more prey, so keep this in mind during hunting!

-> your cat can only catch 2 pieces of prey per post to keep things steady and organized!

"I don't care if you would rather laze around today you WILL be participating in this." She hissed at him annoyedly.

The black and brown ginger apprentice blinked open her blue eyes from where she resided in a patch of sunlight outside the medicine den, lifting her head from her paws in her napping spot and rising upward with a stretch. Stagheart had been a tad busy lately so she decided this would be nice for her training. He would be happy, right? Surely he couldn't couldn't that lame as to not care whatsoever, right? Yeah, yeah. Don't be so uptight, Bane. She shook the thoughts away with rapid movements of her head and trotted out of the den to approach the lionheart.

Sneezepaw padded out to the clearing, hearing the Lionhearts calling. Land hunting, something she was in terrible need of. She wasn't much of a fan, but she needed to learn how nonetheless. She looked around, spotting another apprentice she thought she knew the name of. Softpaw, she remembered as the memory came flooding back. She hesitantly walked over, dipping her head in a friendly hello.

"Hey, you looking for a hunting lesson as well?"

Her smile was light, a nervous look still hung in her eyes.

Being an apprentice was already so much better than being a kit, it was like it opened up a whole new set of things to do. He could participate in events he couldn't have before! Aspenpaw didn't even care to look around and see if he knew anyone joining the event. He only cared about one thing- tow things actually.

And coming first.

Nevermind that was the same thing-- he was going to win and prove he was on the right track to being the greatest warrior of riverclan!! If only he new how to hunt....eh it couldn't be too hard....HUNTING! He got to hunt! This was so cool!!! He felt like he would explode! "I'm in, I'm so in!" he announced loudly
