Jaggedkit watched as his sister ran around hitting a ball of moss like every other kit did. Green eyes following her solo game while he didn't actually pay much attention to it. His thoughts were elsewhere, he was still confused or more so upset at his interaction with that older warriors. Deadmoon. Only long after leaving the warrior and taking a nap in the nursery had he actually remembered attacking her and not like how he usually play fought with his brother- no. It was different and he felt awful about it. He wanted to apologize but....no.
Green flashed past his eyes as the mossballs was flung into the air, on reflex he stuck out his paw and batted it away. Then he proceeded to glare at Seedling as his sister's called her, He however called her sprout. "Watch where you're hitting that thing" he huffed, his tail tip twitching. He didn't see how fun hitting a ball of moss could be. He never played the game and didn't see the importance in it. Brawling however was much more fun and useful. Ofcourse what would sprout know about that, she was merely a girl and participated in dumb things
Seedkit pouted at her brother’s words, finding interest in her brother rather than the moss now, leaving it somewhere on the nursery floor. The ball of white fur and black speckles approached him slowly, as if stalking him, despite very clearing being within his field of vision.
“No fun, no, you’re no fun at all!” She declared with a huff, springing up onto her feet to stand before him, stomping her feet incessantly. “I never see you playing around, no, not unless you’re fighting someone! And, you know, that’s no fun at all! It is quite mean, yes, it is!” Her declaration was made with the utmost certainty. Seedkit couldn’t see the appeal in fighting, not even in the act of play-fighting… It was far too mean, far too rough of a game for her. “How come you can never play nice?”

Slight vibrations of the ground startled the kitten almost as much as when a familiar voice rang out not even a second after, prompting Coldkit to lift her head from the ground and up to the sky. Her ears flickered as they adjusted to the presence of another, her silence stretching as her mind worked to identify which of her siblings this was.
"You're..Rookkit."
She mew eventually, thoughtfully, turning her head the wrong way. "...I lost my ball."
She decided to explain after some seconds, paws returning to rhythmically taping the ground below in a wayward pattern until she accidentally tapped one of Rookkit's paws and had to retract her limb. "It was right here. But I lost it."
She had been trying to play mossball by herself, practicing for the unlikely event one might invite her to play along. Alas, one could see how that turned out.
"Have you seen it?"

"Um...yeah, I am." Rookkit answered with a gruff voice, blatant and straightforward. Watching her sister stare in some direction that was not towards her. Whatever, if Coldkit had trouble figuring out who or where she was, that was perfectly fine. Even with eyes, Rookkit could hardly keep track of all 12 of her siblings. Nor did she wanted to. "Your ball?"
Oh, she meant the moss ball that was just tail length away. The slender dusky gray she-cat meant to go grab it for her, but a paw suddenly tapped her. The sudden touch made Rookkit pull back. Physical contact wasn't really her thing, even though Coldkit was her sibling, Rookkit hardly finds any touching or prodding to be very fun, unless it was a fight; then she was going to go all in and hit everything she saw or briefly touched. "Um, I do see it, alright. It is still right here..."
Rookkit grabbed the little measly ball of moss before dropping it near Coldkit's paws, hoping she'll be able to sense it. Somehow? How do things work when you can't see.

ever since her encounter with that dastardly villain of a bug that pinched her, egretkit had been quite wary of the other insects. crouched down in one of the corners of the nursery, she closely inspects a beetle that's crawling around. she inches closer, slowly outstretching a paw to experimentally poke at the beetle. then pokes again. and again. seeing as it doesn't pinch her or anything, she decides that this amazing beetle will be her companion!
"I'll name you..hmm..uh," she trails off, stumped. what's a good name for a beetle? sitting up, she looks around the nursery for any inspiration. except, her attention is taken away from her lovely beetle when she catches sound of her brother, spotting him in the middle of the nursery right after. ooh, playing sounds fun! maybe it'll give her some ideas for beetle-esque names.
"gracks! gracks!" egretkit squeaks, bouncing up and skittering in the direction of her brother. "I'll play with you! what're we playing?" she has about a million ideas. fake clans, hide and seek, leap frog... oh, maybe they can even go play in the leaves in the camp!

At the sudden call of his sister's voice, the gray-and-beige tom whirled around, a newfound spark in his bright blue eyes. Finally! Some other kit had come to their senses.
"Yo, Eges! Well, I was playin' moss ball — check out this neat trick!" Gracklekit smirked before launching the wad of moss into the air, and doing another one of his fumbled jumps-and-twists before snagging the falling moss with his little thorny claws. To him, it felt like the smoothest little maneuver in the world, even though to any observer it was perhaps little more than a hop and quick turn. "Betcha can't do that, hah!"
Then he flung the moss into the air, letting it arc right above Egretkit, waiting to see if she'd be as quick and skilled as he so clearly was in getting that moss ball, a rather cocky smirk on his little maw.

The little kit hadn't been out of the nursery yet, but he was starting to get antsy. I wanna see the rest of the world! At this age and size, everything seemed big but the nursery had started to get boring. His little legs could only carry him so far, but the small tom had taken a few steps out of the nursery for the first time, looking around at his surroundings. Wow...everything's HUGE!
(Open to anyone! Also Raven introduction, first time outside of the nursery.)

"no fun? You know what not fun!? Hitting a piece of moss you ripped of the nest around like its prey" he hissed in response. His green eyes narrowed as his sister continued to stomp continually. It was strange that he was offended by her words that meant absolutely nothing to him. He could care less that his sister didn't like play fighting but something inside him wanted to make her understand that he was right and she was wrong. That fighting was fun and everything else was lame.
Standing up from the nest and puffing up his fur he stared down at his sister angrily. "fighting is fun, and it's useful! One day everyone will have to fight and what will you do? Attack our enemy by throwing mossballs at them. Weak" maybe he shouldn't be to harsh on his sister, she wasn't like card or straws. She was....soft? Was that the words. Whatever was the right description that's what she was, something that his other sisters seemed insistent to protect. Maybe..
Maybe seedkit was actually weak, maybe she was like this because no one had bothered to teach her otherwise. Well then Jaggedkit would just have to be a good brother and help his sister out. "I'll help you not be weak. Then straws and card can stop treating you like a fragile kit" it must be annoying to be constantly treated like a kit, poor poor seedkit.
The kitten was laying down in the back of the nursery. They were a bit too tired to want to do much today. Lately, they have been using his cheerful mask more and that was the one that always tired him out and left him feeling especially empty after it falls. Which is what they were doing now, just curled up and watching. He wasn't even really doing that rather his eyes were unfocused and unseeing as they got trapped in their mind which was exceedingly blank. Tired. Time for Naptime.
