If you havent played one of my favorite games Until Dawn, then I doubt you know what a Wendigo is. A Wendigo is a northern native american folklore tale often told in more harsh winters. In these storms, people were often snowed in their house. Food would run out quickly. People would have to wait all winter to be let out of their houses/get food. Some starved to death, some resorted to cannibalism to survive.

It is said that now if you take part in cannibalism on native american land, you will turn into a Wendigo. What do these creatures look like? That are human like. Skinny, almost a skeleton, long limps that stretch far. When standing on two legs they can be about 8 feet high, though most often they run on all fours at incredible speeds. If a Wendigo eats part of you, you are also turned into one. They only hunt at night, and can only see you if you make noise or move. As a Wendigo, you have a crave for human flesh that will never be satisfied.

So now that a bit of the back story is out of the way, you are trying to survive the Wendigo y/n ! Its around Christmas time so you have decided to rent a cabin with 3 of your other friends. Their names are Jenna, Matt, and Eli. You have known them for years, and since youre family is to far away and your friends were free around this time, you thought why not?
You arrive at the cabin and its a dream. You guy arrive christmas eve, and leave the day after christmas. Its a bit last minute, but hey. It was cheaper. Its a log cabin that seems to be in the middle of no where, silence and peaceful, only greeted with the pretty mountain view and thick forests surrounding you. Its a dream in all honesty. You and your friends suitcases are packed full, both from luggage and from gifts to eachtoher. It was Christmas eve !! Excitement was in the air. You are your friends get inside and settle in, exploring it. The cabin is HUGE to say the least, and you think you got your moneys worth. Matt goes to turn on the light switch, but nothing turns on.
This sucks ass.
You were hoping to go without ANY problems, but it seems not even 5 minutes in the the house and you have a major one. Matt looks to you, perching his glasses back on his nose. "What should we do?"

"Lets just go find the fusebox real quick, and well have the lights working in no time." your voice booms confidence, even if you have no idea what youre doing when it comes to that sort of stuff. You walk with Matt outside, the winter is cold and harsh though it feels nice. A true Christmas eve. While walking you walk along the side of the house, wandering and looking for the fusebox. Where the fuse box SHOULD be, it is not there, and instead there is a path leading a bit into the forest. Cords and pipes from the house are leading down this path too,"The fuse box is probably down that path." Matt says looking towards you. Matt was your best friend, you have known him for years and it felt nice to be out with him on such a holiday. Leading off of the path there was another path. It looked faster, but a bit more dangerous. Having lots of rocks and steep pathways. Both will lead you to the fuse box in the end. "Which way should we go?"
