Slowly making his way into the clearing, Hawkblaze leaned back into a stretch, his muscled form rippling under his brown striped pelt. Looking at the sky, he realized it was approaching sunhigh. He squinted for a moment, trying to remember something. He felt like he had an important task today, but couldn't remember what...
Then it hit him.
Oh rabbit droppings...
Padding to the apprentice's den, he stuck his face into the opening and called out.
"Tigerpaw! Get up! Time for training!" He grumbled before sitting back on his haunches. Of course, he had forgotten to take out his apprentice. Hell, he forgot he had an apprentice. Responsibility wasn't exactly his forte.

Tigerpaw jolted awake at her name being called. Oh! Training! The tabby apprentice jumped up and raced out of the apprentice's den, not seeing her mentor waiting for her. She skidded to a stop at her name being called again and went to Hawkblaze. "Sorry!" She licked her orange paw and rubbed her tattered ear. "Sorry! I'n just REALLY excited to continue my warrior training!"

Nodding to the apprentice, he stood. "Alright then, tell me what you know," he said, turning to lead the way towards the camp entrance. If he had any hope of training an apprentice, he had to know where to begin.

Tigerpaw nodded. "Alright. I've got hunting done, most of battle training, not so sure about the landmarks but the borders are done, I remember setting a paw on Thunderpath." The little apprentice explained to her mentor.

Narrowing his gaze, Hawkblaze thought for a moment. "So you've not been in a battle yet, and you've patrolled the borders but not the territory. What have you done battle wise? And you've been to gatherings, correct?" He questioned, thinking over all the possible tasks he might have to perform.
Maybe this won't be too hard after all. She seems farther along in training than I expected.

Tigerpaw smiled. "I mean, I fought a badger, and not much battle training, yes I've been to a Gathering, patrols the borders, not the territory, yeah." She said, licking her back.

Stifling a sigh, he nodded to the apprentice. "And I assume you know how to hunt, yes?" He inquired, lifting a paw to clean it. He thought about the things he went through to become a warrior, making a sort of mental list.

Tigerpaw smiled. "Mostly. I caught a mouse, a few rabbis with Raypaw once." The apprentice blushed when she said Raypaw's name for a split second.

Tigerpaw shrugged, following her mentor. "Honestly, I really don't know. All I really know is that I git the borders done, been to a few Gatherings, been on a hunting patrol, and fought a badger." She mewed, flicking her ears.
