Crowtooth was still kind of in shock as he set himself up in a sheltered part of the clearing, coyote tooth on its string(?) at his paws. How could he not be rocked at what'd happened to him post meeting really, and the tom forced himself not to think about it to avoid being shocked yet again.

He had a story to tell the clan, for entertainment and for their own good. Too many cats were either too young or willing to forget the past and so forgot the lessons it held and it damaged windclan. Stars even Crowtooth could be counted among the later, though unwillingly with his memory issues.

Well today the tom would school them all with a story of a windclan victory and maybe bridge some rifts with a tale of an enemy they all could hates defeat.

"Alrighty yall! Young and old gather up, kittens to elders and Im gonna tell a story of a long ago battle and victory for our clan! A tale of Windclan standing tall together and how not even the worst of circumstances can keep up down and from our home!

The tale of the coyotes that took our camp and how we came back stronger. And the best part? All of it is true."

For emphasis the tom lifted the coyote tooth to the light as he rasped out his call and showed it off to any cat who gathered, trying to coax them closer.

As cats gathered Crowtooth tacked on a small disclaimer between wheezing coughs, struggling with summoning all that drama filled volume. "Ah, fair warning. Some of this may not be the most accurate" And some might be 'tactfully' omitted or altered, but the cats who were actually present so long ago should be smart enough to know why. "as I was young when this happened and ya'll should know how my memory is." Read: the ex amnesiac was telling this story.
"However it'll be fine. This happened years ago so fine details tend to fade over time regardless of ones memory."

Windclan story time! Any cat is welcome to gather and listen and Crowtooth welcomes questions and comments all throughout as long as they are made in taste! This story covers the tale of the coyote invasion around 4 years ago so theres lots to tell about it! Also for readability Im dropping crowtooths speaking quirks but IC they are still there!

Firestorm was still reeling from the events of Cowtuft's exile, but was always down for a good story. Hanging back a little bit, Firestorm made her way into the clearing. She didn't want to get near any of them, not trusting any for a second. What they had done to her brother was wrong, so very very wrong and she had not yet forgiven any of them. Inching over to the medicine cat's den, she sat outside of it, just in case someone tried to pull some funny business.

She could do with a story time, it wouldn't hurt for her to sit and listen. Considering all that was going down in the clan at the moment, even if he hid in the apprentice's den. That shouldn't be seen as a surprise for her since she wasn't one to join in on the conflict, especially if yelling was involved. No, Littlepaw was more so on the calm side of stuff. So she was more willing to show up for this, stories seemed like a calm activity.

Fawnkit poked his head out of the nursery, watching the cats gather in the clearing for a story. What was a coyote? Why was everyone so interested? He liked being nice and warm in the nursery, but he didn't want to miss out!
He padded clumsily over to Crowtooth, wrinkling his nose. It was cold. He wormed his way straight into Crowtooth's belly fur for warmth, not quite willing to put up with the weather for the sake of the story.

Scorchedfang was not usually one for this nonsense, but WindClan and coyotes caught his attention. Made his brain itch.

So he took a seat near the edge of the shelter, watching silently.

Dunecall showed up as soon as Crowtooth heard the word "battle" and sat down neatly in the center of the clearing, curling up his tail around his paws to keep them from freezing. Gosh, the ol' leafbare was still harsh on him after all these years.

He could tell the clan was still shocked by Cowtuft's exhile, and that some found Crowtooth's idea a bit out-of-place for that. But Dunecall believed in the idea, and actively encouraged it. "This is gonna be one of the best stories you'll hear, folks." He exclaimed to no one in particular, but to all the cats around him that were sitting down.

He remembered the story not so well himself, but the emotions he had lived in it were still vivid in his memory after so many moons. Still, he wouldn't join Crow at the head of the storytelling event.
