Rookadder stretched out, groaning as her neck popped as she did so. Bright blueish-green eyes shifting to look around, her vision landing on Hazycry. Maybe Hazy would enjoy some hunting with Rook? Besides- the clan storage was somewhat low, and it could be fun.

The oriental she-cat trotted over, her fluffy, long tail waving behind her as long limbs steadily flew her to the warrior. She didn't know Hazycry all that well- but starclan above, she may as well try. Her brother was always telling her to get out more- which was rich coming from the recluse.

hazycry was sweeping her cloudy eyes across the clearing, sight was strange, almost overstimulating. how did anyone deal with this? it was overwhelming. stars be damned.

oh there was a molly padding up to her. rookadder, if she remembered correctly. aaaaaaaaand she was just standing there. "do you need something or are you just gonna stand there and say nothing?"

Rookadder blinked a singular time before she snapped out of whatever daze starclan put on her. Rookadder shook her head and looked at Hazycry.

"Apologies. Do you wish to go hunting?" Rook didn't know what came over her. She usually was easy at talking- she always knew what to say- but now- now she couldn't even figure out what to ask her!

(uh ohh- Rook can't speak bc she saw a pretty girl xD)

she blinked confusedly. that was... strange, to say the least. she flicked her ear as she got to her paws. "very well, any particular landmark or just the general territory?" she flicked her fluffy tail as she padded towards the entrance of camp.

Rookadder flicked an ear, sharp gaze scanning Hazycry. This molly intrigued her, made her want to learn more about this molly.

"How about the whispering wetlands?" She asked, tail flicking as she stretching and yawned, tongue running against her teeth.

she let out a sigh, does this cat know the territory at all??? "whispering wetlands is a border, not a landmark. know the difference." she flicked her tail, momentarily in thought. "evergreen grotto." she decided, and padded out of camp.

once they arrived she flicked her ears back. "watch your step. its rocky, dont want to have to explain to sleepysunrise how a full-grown warrior got her paw sprained, alright?"

Rookadder nodded, padding towards evergreen grotto. What was wrong with them today? they felt like they were going crazy! Rook sighed under their breath and trotted on, tail swaying as they padded towards the grotto.

Rook was careful on the shaky rocks, long tail swaying as her ears perked, looking towards Hazy. "Heh- yeah." She murmured, inhaling deeply for any scent of prey.

she grit her teeth as she walked. what was this warrior trying to do? kill her?
almost no one tried to talk to her, let alone ask her out of camp. she would have to keep an eye out for a sneak attack. something was bothering her.

maybe the warrior only wanted a peaceful chat?

HAH! as if! no one talks to her. not if they know what she's like. not if they truly understand her. she flicked her tail, keeping her eyes and ears open to ensure nothing surprised her.

[rolled a 14, 20, 10]

she crept forward, using the shadows and her silent pawsteps to her advantage, she leaped towards a squirrel, the rodent tried to run, but didnt get far before the warriors large frame was on top of it.

she scraped gravel over the squirrel, turning to hunt something else, her nose twitched as it caught the scent of mice, plural. she stalked up towards it, and moved a fallen branch, a mouse scurried out, leaving behind its two young. she turned and chased after the rodent, its gray fur a blur, she leapt, pinning it down and returned to the nest, she killed the half-grown mice, and secured her squirrel, and returned to rookadder, curious as to what she caught.

Rook, despite all misgivings, just wanted a friend. She didn't have many, if at all and Hazycry seemed like a good cat under the surface. The long feline slipped into the shadows, ears perked as she scanned for any prey that may be hiding from the two keen warriors.

Rookadder slunk through the shadows with practiced ease, her dark coat masking her pelt as her bright eyes watched. The scent of mouse hit her lungs, and her gaze caught not only the mouse that had scurried away from Hazycry, whom had caught it, accompanied by another mouse who raced on seeing the scene. Right into rookadders jaws.

With a swift pounce, rookadder lunged, jaws clashing down on the varmint with ease, snapping it's neck before she hid it beneath the gravel, ducking back down into the shadows as she searched for the other mice hidden from her gaze, for now.

The lean trans-fem molly caught onto the other mice, nose twitching as she dropped into a crouch, slowly stalking towards the scent. BAM! Rookadder lunged before the mice knew what hit them. They were plump, younger looking but a decent meal. Rook looked triumphantly at the prey as she secured the three mice, holding them by their tails. Maybe Hazycry wasn't so bad? she seemed as comfortable in the silence as Rook did.

her head was spinning, why was this cat being nice to her. to her of all cats? she was extremely suspicious of the other molly, so she kept her ear pricked for any signs of an ambush.

what could she even get from murdering her anyway? it would be quite obvious that rookadder would be the one who killed her, and she wouldnt go down with a fight, so why, why isolate her from the clan?

her fur was almost bristling, stars above she didnt like the situation she was placed in. she flicked her tail towards rookadder, silently signaling lets go back.
