Talonkit laid at the entrance to the nursery, watching the outside carefully. It was too chilly for her out, and she didn't want to be cold... So, she sat at the very edge of the outside, longingly watching warriors and apprentices pace around camp. Gah, there HAD to be something to do... Hmph, would she have to find her friends? Or maybe even a new one to play with? Stars, that would be annoying. But she couldn't just sit here doing nothing, she would die of boredom!

Spiritkit didn't reply this time. Limbs stiff and expression tense, he paced around the clearing before deciding to head towards the Nursery. He forced himself to slip into the shadows, though there weren't much shadows to hide in. It was already bad that he was much smaller than the other kits his age, and some younger kits had decided he was the perfect victim for some mossball.

CAN YOU NOT HEAR ME?!

He yet again did not repond, instead quickening his pace. He wanted the comfort of teh Nursery. NOW.

As the kit played around with the other kits, eventually starting to run towards the nursery, Talonkit couldn't help but take notice... What was this kit doing? She wondered, tilting her head.
Shortly after, she decided to find out. She stood, trotting over and standing in the kits path. "Hey, why are you running back?" She asked sternly "You looked like you were having fun...?"

Great. SOMEONE decided to completely ruin his plans and get in his way. Spiritkit let out a furious hiss, claws unsheathing and pupils reducing to thin slits.

GET OUT OF MY WAY, YOU USELESS FURBALL!!

"Get out of my way, useless furball." Spiritkit repeated. Lips pulling back in a snarl as he glared daggers at the unfamiliar calico. He stormed forward to shoulder his way past the larger kit. Though it made it a little difficult due to his small size. He let out a hiss again, but this time, he didn't throw out an insult. He leapt at the younger but larger kit, claws extended and teeth bared, aiming a tackle at her. Who did she think she was, blocking his path like that?!

Talonkit was a bit surprised by the other kit's hiss, however this shock slowly faded as it changed to a smirk. ooh, a challenge, how fun!
What she wasn't expecting is how eager this little kit was to jump at her! As the kit attempted to knock her over, Talonkit stayed sturdy with her size. She reared up, attempting to come back down on the down on the other kit with unsheathed claws. She didn't want to injure him bad, but she at least aimed to draw a little blood...

His irrational attempt in trying to attack the larger kit ultimately proved to be absolutely an idiotic move, because as fast as he dove at her, she struck right back, unsheathed claws coming down on him and eventually he found himself caught between her claws and the ground. Ow.

You're gonna give up here, Deception? Are you really a weakling like that?

Spiritkit let out a low, rumbling growl, and began to kick and squirm blindly, attempting to free himself and claw the kit across the muzzle. That'd make her lose the will to fight, for sure.

Pfft, that's it? Pretty pitiful for someone your size.

"That's it? Pretty pitiful for someone your size." Spiritkit hissed as he resumed his furious squirming, claws slashing the air.

Talonkit leaped back as tiny claws slashed across her nose. She grinned, giggling a bit at the kit's comeback. "Hehehe, you're not even better than me! Only got me a bit in a nose!" She laughed, preparing herself to leap at the kit again. This time, she has her claws sheathed as she attempted to jump at the kit and knock him down again before he could even stand up properly.

Unfortunately for him, his furious thrashing only got him as far as lightly scratching the kit on her nose. That wouldn't do.

Weakling. You call the kit pitiful while you can barely land a hit on said kit? Pathetic little thing, aren't you? DO BETTER! NOBODY RAISED YOU TO BE A WEAK, COWARDLY INSECT!

Spiritkit rolled sideways and jumped onto his paws, baring his teeth and letting out a growl. He was not weak. And he was about to prove that he wasn't! He reared up on his hind legs to counter the calico's attack, claws aimed for her shoulder and chest.
Who did she think she was? Whoever she was, she was definitely deranged and thought she was better than him. But she isn't. No kit younger than himself would call themselves "better".

Talonkit didn't have enough time to fully back off before claws raked through her fur. She felt droplets of blood staining her cream fur, yet she didn't run. She didn't cry, scream, and run to get her dads, no. The sting, it hurt, but it wasn't a bad hurt... It was good. She smiled, giggling a bit. "Hehehehe! You're tough!" She mewed, a large grin on her muzzle.
She began to become more playful, making a more obvious attack by crouching down, tail held high, before lifting off and trying to pounce on the other kit. She used the hunting crouch that Pondlily had taught her... She didn't know if it would work on another cat, but worth a shot!
