I'm a BIG NERD! And love cat genetics!
Ok so as suggested above, this is purely about cat genetics! Sorry for any other characters but that's what I can do </3

Disclaimer! I'm NOT a professional at genetics! It's just something I enjoy and like to talk a lot about! There may be errors in my work so I apologize if that is the case!

Alright, a few key words I'll say so I make sense <3
(not required to read this at all, just useful)
Homozygous/homo - There are two copies of the same gene (ex, B/B)
Heterozygous/hetero - There is one copy of two different gene (ex, B/b)
Dominant - A gene that presents itself over another (ex, B/b and B/B would both make the cat base black!)
Recessive - A gene that needs two copies of itself to present, or a gene that is not presented over another (ex, little b can't show if big B is present, and the geneotype needs to be b/b in order for the cat to present cinnamon!)
Red gene - The red gene, which causes ginger, is sex linked onto the X chromosome, so females have two copies of the red gene and males do not! This will come into play with more characters submitted
I WILL ADD MORE TERMS AS NEEDED BECAUSE I SO FORGOT A BUNCH LOL

Just send an image (or description, but image preferred </3) of your characters and I will go over their (speculative) genes, and what each of those genes does to their looks! I'll go through my reasoning! If your cat has set parents, feel free to include their looks as well!
