Welcome to Extra Training Sessions with Violetfreckle!
Since the death of her stepson Wolfhive, Violetfreckle has been grieving in her own way. And this way being, throwing herself at every task she possibly can. Is it a healthy coping mechanism? Absolutely not. However, good news for any apprentices looking for some training: she's always available! There are some things to keep in mind, though. Use caution, read carefully!
What can Violetfreckle teach?
She's great at fishing and would enjoy the chance to teach a new generation of squirrels– oh, I mean ThunderClanners how to fish. She also knows some hunting skills, but is not as proficient in these as fishing. She can teach some basic fighting moves, but is not yet equipped to give advanced lessons.
What should you know about Violetfreckle?
She's always been a bit aloof and irritable, but now, she's downright volatile. She tries to keep it under control and not take out her feelings on others, especially young cats. As long as they try their best and listen to her during lessons, your apprentice will be fine. She will not tolerate any trouble, though.
She's emotional. Lessons may temporarily halt for a crying session. But she will do her best to get them back on track. She will not open her heart to any of these cats, no matter what. If an apprentice does particularly well, they might possibly get the smallest of smiles their way. But for obvious reasons, she doesn't want to let anyone else in. Don't be discouraged by her lack of enthusiasm!
How can you get this training?
Post in this thread, mention me and say something along the lines of "[apprentice's name] needs [certain type of training]", then post a starter of your cat asking Violetfreckle for some training. She can be sitting around camp, in some den, whatever you'd like (within reason, of course). For my own sanity, I will not be posting any starters. So if you forget this step, unfortunately that means no training for you.
When can you bump me/Should you bump me?
I have said it before and I will say it again, I always appreciate bumps. My policy is 3 days, though in this case, if it's been more than 48 hours you're free to send me a VM. If you think I forgot a roleplay, chances are I did! I'm generally pretty busy and forgetful, and always appreciate reminders.
