TW: Mention of child death, Death, Anger, Grief, Gore
Why.
Why was fate so cruel to him?
He wanted a family. To have kits. To be happy.
But life was cruel.
Since Blazing died, Wildtwist wasn't the same. They wanted to make everyone hurt. So they could feel the pain they caused leaf. The pain he went through.
Then some dumbass approached him. Smaller. Younger.
The stranger unsheathed their claws, their green eyes glowing with malice. With intent to kill.
"You wanna fight!?" Wildtwist spat, ruffling leaf's pelt up. "Then come and get me you asshole!" he yowled, launching himself at the unknown cat.
The stranger stepped aside, reaching out their unsheathed claw to tear apart the side of Wildtwist's stomach.
Wildtwist landed on the ground, His breathing ragged. Before he knew it, the stranger stood above him, green eyes gleaming. He leaned down to whisper something in Wildtwist's ear.
Leaf widened his eyes in shock, and parted their jaws to speak. Before they got the chance, the stranger slit their neck, blood gushing out. Wildtwist's head fell, their eyes blanked as their breathing stopped.
This, was the death of Wildtwist. Alone. Angry. Vengeful. But in his last moments, he felt something else. Sorrow, Grief, and longing.
As Wildtwist stepped out of his body, his spirit young, the memories came flooding back. He did all of that. How... How could he have done that? He did so many bad things, and leaf wanted to reject it all. But he had to face the truth - he was a terrible cat.
