Closed question abt cat names

can a cat be named after an emotion?
the official name guide says nothing about it-

"Names must be in English only, and those that have been approved generally fall under the following parameters:

It IS:

Naturally occurring within or around Maine, OR very widespread throughout the USA
An adjective relating to a character’s appearance, personality, or ability attributes
An unspecialized name used in the books


It is NOT:

Abstract, a scientific name, or something that would be unknown to feral cats
A color name that was not used in the books
A 'specialized name' (e.g. Harveystorm, Billyface)

Variations of listed names are permitted, such as Burning- instead of Burn-. Additionally, any valid name may be utilized as both a prefix or suffix."
and i wished to name a kit "lamentkit", but i didn't know if that was valid

Prob not, cause that's a special special word that most humans don't even know nevermind cats.

In order for you to get a special special word as your prefix/Suffix, i think you have to ask for the leaders perm

Generally, we don't approve names that are just emotions (with some exceptions, like Happy). Lament wouldn't be approved especially considering it's not really a common vocab word for cats. @TheRadioDemon
