Territory Tour

Another day, another lesson to teach. The lack of teachers in this clan was astonishing. The lack of motivation from mentors, even more so. That's okay. Where those warriors lacked, Hawkbite would do his best to make up for by taking care of these lessons for the apprentices. It wasn't their fault they had lazy mentors after all. They can't be punished for that.

He sat at the entrance to the camp, watching the Apprentices' Den as the ones he summoned emerged slowly from the dark abyss.

Yellowpaw ran out of the apprentice den. "Hm?" He grunted.

Featherpaw noticed Hawkbite and stepped outside, giving himself a quick lick and standing stiffly.

ShadePaw stepped out of the apprentices den, stretching. She ducked her head as she came out, the 14-moon old apprentice being squished into the den.

Stepping from the den, the apprentice allowed herself a moment to register what was currently happening. Then, she waited as patiently as she could to head out.

The Enforcer nodded contently as the apprentices gathered. Good, they could get going quickly. "Right. Everyone here needs to learn the territory, so today we will be focusing on just that. A small adventure around ShadowClan's borders," Hawkbite spoke. He rose to his paws, gesturing for the small group to follow him out of the camp. "I will not slow down for any of you, so keep up if you want to learn."

The very first stop, was obviously the territory. "ShadowClan's Territory is filled with marshy lands and pine trees. The shadows are our friends here and one day you guys will learn how to wear these shadows like a second pelt," Hawkbite spoke as he trekked slowly between the trees. He could've shown off, but decided against it, maybe another time.

The Enforcer continued along, coming up quickly to their next destination. He figured starting with a border and making the apprentices work their noses would be a great start. The dark tabby halted near the border, turning to look at the apprentices. It appeared Shadepaw was still back at the camp, unfortunate if she didn't catch up.

"Take a good inhale and tell me which clan you can smell near here," Hawkbite instructed, looking between them. "We're at Herondive Hollow, one of our borders."
