The bengal felt the blood drip from her lips. Her mentor looked in pure horror as she backed away from the apprentice. The fur of Frostpaw’s victim slowly flooded near her paw. The apprentice looked towards Flurryclaw. Her slightly bloody mouth parted in a smile. “ Look Flurryclaw! I did it! I caught the prey! The older apprentice picked up the dead animal,Holding it in her jaws softly,Mentor moving out of the way of the younger cat as Frostpaw walked towards her. A look of confusion lingered on the warrior's face. “You were taught how to hunt moons ago. Yet you still beg for praise? Frostpaw,You need to grow up. You’re about to be a warrior,Grow a damn backbone kid.” The warriors practically hissed towards the younger cat. The apprentice returned the hiss with a snarl. “Says the one backing away from me as if I just murdered my sister or something. How about you grow a backbone! Or even better,how about trying to retire to the elders' den? If you trained your third apprentice’s own mother,I think that might be a hint,but hey? What do I know,right.”
She spoke harshly,A bitter tone clearly coming through as she turned back around and walked towards the camp walls that remained in the distance. A small expression of anger found its home on her face. If she had only been not assigned to this old hag then maybe she would already be a warrior. Being an apprentice at 10 moons old was embarrassing enough. Now Flurryclaw was starting to remember her own habit of talking down to her apprentices. Frostpaw growled at the idea for her mentor speaking to her mother like that. Swallowscreech was already enough for Frostpaw to handle and now Flurryclaw?! What the hell was this pattern!
The apprentice made it to camp,Pawsteps ringing behind her as Flurryclaw followed after. The bengal looked at her mother,Placing the prey in the pile before padding over to her. Only hissing mentally at Swallowscreech,A few new scars that Frostpaw had so graciously given him as a result of a previous encounter,now healed fully just above his eyebrow A smirk of satisfaction landed on her maw. ‘It’s what he deserved,yet mother still stays with him. Ew.’ Instead of saying it out loud, she spoke quite loudly and joyfully towards her mother and stepfather. “MOM! SWALLOWSCREECH! I caught a piece of prey,and I did it all by myself! Plus,I'm going to become a warrior in the next meeting! ” A smile appeared on the apprentice’s face as did her mothers. “I'm gonna go tell Ebonypaw! She is gonna be so freaking jealous! Ha! Ha!” Frostpaw spoke swiftly before rushing towards the apprentice den in search of her little sister,Ready to playfully tackle the 8 Moon old Shecat.
