Starlingpaw yawned, it was early morning and snow had just began to settle on the forest floor, they shivered, their shorter fur wasn't really made for such cold weather. No matter, it was the day after their apprentice ceremony and they wanted to start their training as soon as they could, there was so much to learn if they wanted to be a good warrior. They stretched, picking their way around all of the sleeping apprentices in their nests, and then padding over to the warrior den. They were unsure if they should call for Lynxblossom or just wait outside until she woke up, they didn't want to mess up on their first day. After hesitating they decided to would be better to wait rather than waking him up. They sat down near the entrance, to await their mentor.

Dreams held Lynxblossom firmly in their grasp, letting only a swish of a tail nub, or a shift of her legs escape. But eventually she would escape, blue eyes blinking awake slowly. It didn't seem that she slept in, but she still felt it necessary to hurry out of the den.

He would like to say he wasn't surprised to see Starlingpaw outside the den, but he was, at least physically. Though he liked to think he hid it well. Mentally he wasn't, and was actually really glad to see they were so eager to begin their training.

"I hope I didn't leave you waiting too long." Lynxblossom began. "I hope you slept well, we have a busy day ahead of us." A yawn escaped his lips at the mention of sleep, a rather frequent occurrence.
"I was thinking of a territory tour, it's how I start out with all my apprentices, does that sound good?"

( @Erebus - I'm so very sorry! I'm trying to work on the rate of my replies, I promise you won't have to wait this long in the future! )

Starlingpaw was unsure of the exact amount of time they had been waiting, it was pretty tough to tell as at one point they stopped paying attention to the camp around them, but it couldn't have been very long, they brushed off some of the snow from their pelt before hopping to their paws. "Not at all, I actually sorta liked having some time to myself, the apprentice den can be.. loud." they meowed, it was actually sort of surprising how noisy some of the apprentices were, they thought that it would be quieter then the nursery but it made the nursery seem like silence.

Starlingpaw stretched their forelegs, A territory tour? they blinked, they had been curious about what it was like outside of camp for awhile, "Sounds great." they smiled at him slightly, they had been to the temporary camp in hidden haven with the rest of the clan a couple of moons ago, but they didn't find it very interesting since they were under even stricter super vision than normal, so perhaps going around the territory with their mentor would be pretty fun.

" I definitely know what that's like. It's an adjustment to say the least." She chuckled. Her situation was slightly different though, going from sleeping alone to constantly being surrounded by cats that were essentially strangers, was nearly terrifying. But still, apprentices were apprentices, and their rowdiness would always be a difficult environment.

"Alright we'll start with borders, then work our way in." He explained, staring off at a brisk pace towards the camp entrance. Once they were both a few paces out, he would stop in his tracks, turning to Starlingpaw. "Can you point in the direction of the riverclan border? If you don't know it's fine to guess." This wasn't a test, just a way for Lynxblossom to see where her apprentice was knowledge wise, as well as a way to get them more involved in the tour.
