ThunderClan Events

Credit to Moonraven and Undertaker for making the community event idea threads/similar forms!

ThunderClan is in need of some events! It's hard to come up with ideas, so with Naiad's approval we're launching this thread to give everyone an opportunity to share their ideas and host their events for the Clan.

As of right now, ThunderClan high ranks and the Keepers are free to approve events. The plan is to have 1 - 2 events going at a time, to give people plenty to do without overwhelming them!

Event Name: Climbing trees is a breeze!
Who's hosting it: Stagpaw and Maybe Cindersky? Probs not .gotta ask
Tell me about your event: It's an event for apprentices (especially the disabled ones) To learn to climb trees! Open for anyone except kits. Yes, Elders are welcome to refresh their skills if they're up for it!

Hey!

Stagpaw seems to only have 1 training post of climbing so would not be able to oversee this event alone due to inexperience. I did check with marni to see if Cindersky would want to assist, but unfortunately tree climbing is not her cup of tea.

However, @SoldierRise is down for having Bluefox step in and help Stag out, so when you're ready you can post in the TC Events category! I'll PM you an updated Clan-wide mentions list (as of a couple days ago) so you're not using an older one.

Event Name: This is War!
Who's hosting it: Duskpaw
Tell me about your event: So, The Apprentices and kits are um, close to each other in age {The younger ones} so duskpaw thought, why not start pranking the kits! But, he did the good ol' fish-in-bed prank, so The kits start pranking them back, so now they are caught up in a prank war. Duskpaw is leading the apprentices, while Dapplekit is leading the kits!

Event Name: Securing the Future!
Who's hosting it: Pinecrash
Tell me about your event: If Thunderclan is truly going to rise from the ashes, it needs well-trained warriors who fight well together. So Pinecrash wants to invite the warriors and apprentices to come train with him. He’ll put them into groups of twos and threes and give them a few minutes to plan a strategy. Then all the teams will face off in one big mock battle! Claws sheathed, of course. The goal is to stick by your partner(s) side throughout the whole battle. If a group gets more than ten paw steps away from each other they’re out! Whichever team can stick by each other the longest wins!

Event Name: We can rise!

Who's hosting it: Rainhound

Tell me about your event: A sparring event for apprentices and warriors. They get sorted into teams of two, in which they fight against each other. The winner advances to the next level, facing a new opponent. This is for the purpose of training, but also coming together as a clan. Basically, there's two dice rolls for each round. One is offensive, and the other is defensive. This determines a winner between the pairs. Example:

Dawnpaw rolls a two for offensive, and a three for defensive. In total he has five points.

Of course, I'll be using an online dice for this so that it's fair!
