Temporary ThunderClan Medicine Cat's Den

Located at RiverClan's Cattail Pond, the temporary ThunderClan medicine
cat's den consists of a burrow reinforced by sturdy reeds and sticks to
ensure it doesn't collapse.

Now that the den was up, Lionstar grabbed some of the nearby cattails and beckoned Sunpaw to join him inside the den. "Now we make nests!"

He pressed down on the end of the cattail, breaking the brown barrier to release the white fluff hidden inside. "This is how we make our nests soft back at camp.. open up a few of these and pull out the white fuzz, and you'll have a pretty decent start to building a nest."

Littlekit got up and walked over to them feeling like he was just in the way. Can I help? If not now I’ll be open to help! he smiled. He was 6 moons old and pretty obvious. He was a mature cat. @BILL.

When the oversized baby approached, Lionstar flicked a reed at him. "Pull out the white fuzzies! Once we have a good pile we can set the base of the bedlines up."

Yes sir. he got to work and pulled out the white stuff. Once his pile of cattails was gone he looked up at Lionstar. @BILL.

To keep things going, Lionstar briefly departed from the den to return with moss and feathers. He was delayed briefly by the two ThunderClan cats.. but as soon as his discussion with them was over he had trotted into the den to drop the additional bedding supplies off.

"Once the cattail fluff is out, bundle it up into a nest shape and put the moss over it. You can mix feathers in there too-- it makes the beds nice and squishy!"

It took him only a moment to finish fluffing out the cattail he had showed to Sunpaw, lay the white, almost cotton-like material out, and then pile on the moss and feathers. Beds weren't made to be pretty.. but Lionstar liked to think it was cozy. "Once you two do yours, I think we can call this good." If ThunderClan needed more nests, they could make it on their own time. He wanted to be done with this.

Ok. Littlekit got to work and finished the beds. Done. Is that good? he asked Lionstar. @BILL. ( I know you wanted it to end but it just needs an ending. Lol!)

Condorpaw had tromped through the slimy, wet ground just to happen upon... this. The apprentice was already fed up with everything. His mentor was nowhere to be seen, he had to help creepy face, Duskstar looked less than willing to accept his help, and there were no herbs!! Ugh. Making his way into the makeshift camp, he would turn his head to glance at the workings of a den nearby. Slowly, he crept up to it, squeezing his way in to take a curious look. His tail lashed behind him as he watched the little kit getting to work, nose up turned.

"Erf.. What is this place?" Warrior den? Apprentice den? Oh! Perhaps a medicine den? He groaned slightly, head tilted back to glance around at the shoddy work. Well... it was better than being out in the open. And at least the ground was a little bit more solid. Granted, with that downpour or rain, nothing was bound to be very dry.

"Thanks for whatever this is," He'd grumble to Littlekit ( @~RooRoo~ ), turning to stare at the big golden feline also accompanying them. The medicine cat apprentice would quickly turn away his gaze, trying to prevent his entire pelt from rising with discomfort at the fishy, water scent this cat reeked of.

"T-thank you too," He would nearly hiss to Lionstar ( @BILL. ), having heard the tail-end of the situation. He'd seen flashes of this feline throughout the entire situation at camp... so maybe he wasn't all that bad. But stars, he stunk.

Adderkit limped in, shock showing on his face. Patches of fur on his tail and back were gone, and his pads hurt a whole lot. "Is this the new medicine cat den?" He mewed, though he seemed to be distant, far away. He didn't wait for an answer as he laid down, his stare blank. "I hurt." His mew was a bit quiet.
