The Outskirts Is No Place For A Warrior [OPEN]
Morningkit's golden pelt gleamed in the sunlight. She was on the outskirts, exploring. Morningkit was aware she shouldn't be doing that, but she had always been an adventurous kit. She wondered if she would be made an apprentice early after she returned to camp. Morningkit froze with panic. CAMP. She had wandered so far she no longer saw the forest & the lake. "How am I ever going to get home?" Morningkit murmured.

Sunsnow's pelt prickled with worry. He'd been following the kit's scent for so long, he was starting to think that it'd just been dragged off. After all, a kit couldn't get this far on it's own... could it?
That was was Sunsnow thought, at least, until he spotted a small speck of gold in the distance.
Morningkit? Oh, I hope it's Morningkit!
The orange-and-white tom dashed through the tall grass, excitement building in waves.
"Morningkit! Is that you?"

Morningkit turned. She saw a flash of oraange & white. Sunsnow was behind her! She thought someone was following her. Relief swamped Morningkit and she ran to him. "Sunsnow!" she yowled. She was going back to ThunderClan!

"Oh, good."
Thistlestep's voice was dry as he slipped out from the snowy grass, shaking a dusting from his pelt. "Glad to see you managed to find your kit, ThunderClanner. I didn't really want to deal with the hassle of taking her back to your camp."

Morningkit gulped. She had just realized she wasn't alone.

@ BILL. @ Bristlefrost
Sunsnow froze, his fur standing on end as the tom swiveled his ears in the direction of the voice. He turned the rest of his body around and was immediately overpowered by the horrible Riverclan scent.
The tom stepped in front of Morningkit protectively.
"Whaddaya want, fish-breath?"

Morningkit blinked appreciatively. It looked as if this might end in a fight. She hadn't wanted to learn battle moves this early! Morningkit tried toact aggressive, but she was shivering, scared from her ears to tail-tip.

Re: The Outskirts Is No Place For A Warrior [OPEN]
Sunsnow could be bristly all he wanted, it didn't faze Thistlestep one bit as he tipped his head at the overprotective warrior. "If fish-breath is the best you can come up with, you might want to take some time to rethink some insults."
At the kit trying to act aggressive but failing, Thistlestep rolled his eyes. "Take the kit back home, porcupine. You're wasting everyone's time trying to act tough to me outside of Clan territory."
To be blunt, Thistlestep had only approached because he smelled ThunderClan and saw the kit. He would have-- begrudgingly-- helped her back home had Sunsnow not been here, but with his arrival he didn't see a reason to hang around. He had more important things to do than bicker with an idiot.
A flick of his tail and a spin in the snow, and he was gone-- back into the snowy brush he came from.

Re: The Outskirts Is No Place For A Warrior [OPEN]
Morningkit was truly relieved. Thistlestep wasn't really going to threaten them. She tried not to think about all the trouble she'd be in back at camp. But she would have something to boast about to the other kits! "Let's go home, Sunsnow." Morningkit meowed without a trace of fear.

@ Slushie (Thought you might like to read this!) @ BILL. @ Bristlefrost
Sunsnow sighed, his fur lying flat as the ?clan tom padded away. Well, that was... odd. Anyways, I have a bone to pick with that kit.He turned around and fixed Morningkit with a stern, olive glare.
"Just what did you think you were doing? I'm going to have to take you straight to Flintstar for punishment. I had to follow you all the way out here! Stupid, stupid kit." Sunsnow flicked his tail and sighed.
Well, I suppose I might be being a bit hard on her. After all, she's just a kit!
The orange tom grabbed Morningkit by the scruff of her neck, beginning the long journey back to camp. He let go of his irritation, worry and anger, instead focusing on a certain to that he hoped to see when he got back...
Buckbranch. Sunsnow's heart fluttered when he thought of him, the way his pale green eyes shone in the sun, like mossy pools that he could just lose himself in.
