Why did the clan expect him to move on so quickly? Stars above it was stupid..His mentor had died! With no known cause, at least, not one he believed. Speckledpaw exhaled, padding up to Eaglewing.

Eaglewing glanced at her new apprentice as they approached, a cheery smile lighting up her face. "Hey! Yeah, sure, we can do stealth! You're ready for your assessment already? Stars, way to go!" Eaglewing had only been a warrior for a moon or so, though she supposed her "late" start to warriorhood was partially due to her time as a loner when she was an apprentice. Her stealth lesson with Sparrow had been minimal, but she could pass off some tips to Speckledpaw. "C'mon, let's go out of camp for this. There are some good reeds to practice with just outside."

Eaglewing lead the way, her long ginger fur sparkling in the sunshine. "Right, so, admittedly it's been a bit since I've practiced stealth, so bear with me, yeah?" She shot Speckledpaw a sheepish look over her shoulder. "First thing about stealth: use your surroundings. If I wanted to mask my scent, how would I go about it? It's okay if you don't know--just try your best."
