Yars couldn't hold back a big yawn as she waited by the camp entrance. Today, Blackberrybat had promised to take take her out hunting. After she went and told her father that he wasn't a bad mentor, the doofus went and got himself demoted. Yars groaned outwardly at the memory, such an embarrassment! But, she'd make him work twice as hard to make it up to her. No, three times harder! A confident grin made it's way to Yarrowpaw's face at the decision. Yes, three time harder. He'd be sick of her by the time she was done with him, begging Dawnstar to make her a warrior.

Blackberrybat had been a bit off recently, occupied on something else..Well.. someone else- someone's. He was expecting- and it was terrifying. Blackberrybat trotted out of the warrior den, the small and lean tom trotted up, forcing a sweet and exited smile on his maw. "Hey Yars! ya ready to go?" He trotted up, tail raising.

He didn't want Yars to suffer for his dilemma, and he needed to make it up to her.

Ugh, that’s right. Yars forgot that Bats was…expecting. Still an odd concept for her, not the whole Blackberrybat identifying as a tom and being pregnant thing. Rather just the whole…being pregnant thing. It made her skin crawl thinking about it too much…so she didn’t. As Bats approached, she flicked her tail in acknowledgment. “Aye.” She mewed, somewhat curtly, as she rose to her paws. “Lead the way.”

There was no sarcasm in her voice with that one, and she dipped her head as she let Bats take the lead. Following him out into the territory. She raised a brow skeptically as they moved, realizing that her plan to make Bats work three times as hard might be…flawed. Not that Sleepy would mind if Yars sent another cat to the medicine den, but she was fairly certain that…well somecat would mind. “You sure you’re…up for this?” She asked, restraining a sigh. She didn’t want to pull her punches, but health and well-being and all first right?
